Had to pause the video 5 minutes in and Smash that like button. Dropped some real knowledge on the business side. Totally agree with you 100%. Instead of delegating, if you can just sort it out and set an example, do it. Worked in London all my working life and definitely saw a loss of efficiency when a duty/job had to pass through several people on an email chain and meetings and all that before it came to the talent (us). Moved to Copenhagen from North West London 4 years back to set up my retouch studio and have to say giving the customer the cleanest route to a service/completion has proven successfull for me as there's no time wasting and costs are down due to lack of middle men. Anyway, gotta carry on with ep009. :)

Hi Daniel for the speaker by the looks of them they are active ( have power & a built in amplifier) you would need a mixer for them to be plugged into, as those speakers aren't designed to have a phone connected straight into them. By using a mixer it will amplify the signal.(you could also turn the bass up too then) hope this helps

I've been lucky enough to travel to China over 8 times, one thing that always amazed me was how they handled noise pollution, with so many densely populated areas keeping noise to a minimum is top priority, they had big walls of plastic up next to motorways wherever there was an apartment complex or homes, like 12ft high, maybe build a plastic wall next to the track nearby the homes

Because the tracks were built after the houses probably. Also when in the beginning they didn't have as much material coming so it was bearable also it was during the day when people are working most likely not home or Don't care as much because they're not trying to get some needed sleep

Here in Vegas we put modular concrete walls up to help dissipate the volume so the neighbors can sleep because the noise is minimal for them. You might be able to have the scaffold company build you a sound wall out of the scaffolding. Which would be cheaper then a modular concrete wall.

37:50 - the plug you're holding up there is a counterfeit plug. Partially shrouded earth pin and no fuse. This is a very dangerous plug as it looks like it has 0.75mm2 or smaller cord, and that is way underrated for the ring main it might be plugged into. Great video!! It’s interesting to see the inner workings of a fast-growing empire. In a previous video you asked for suggestions for machines/equipment that would be of good use to the company and I noticed you don’t have your own semi-loader? Faymonville make one called a Multimax, which can come with a hydraulic self-widening system, which saves loooads of time which would normally be spent buggering about with outriggers. Opens out to 3.1m wide (I think) and shuts down in to 2.5 wide so you can use it under construction+use regs. Get a 4 axle one and tow it behind the new 6x4 unit that’s coming. It’d be the mutts nuts for shifting your own kit about!
