In Louisiana we don’t have emissions testing....but we get a brake tag where they check lights fluids blinkers windshield wipers of course brakes etc. I’m assuming similar to an MOT? In New Orleans the brake tags say “Drive Defensively” which is exactly what you said about driving for everyone else as well as yourself. I like seeing similarities between here in the States and over across the pond!

The new guys you had in that wanted to park up at 1430 aren't drivers Mate, They're just license holders and steering wheel attendants. If they were paid by the hour they wouldn't dream of wanting to park up.. Ive always been on the opinion with day rate you take the rough with the smooth. 9 times out of 10 for a big company it's greed, with yourself I'd sense its to keep things moving. Keep doing what you're doing. We could use more bosses like you. I never found one so had to quit driving and move into management. Don't half miss driving though
