I have noticed how early the lorry drivers come into work and have just heard Daniel say 5am. They're expected to have their trucks loaded and fuelled up the night before so they are ready to go, BUT where can they go at that unearthly hour?? They can't start making a noise at that time of day so can someone tell me? Do they all pile in a nearby cafe for a bacon butty and cuppa tea?

Because of the motivation I got from your content, I finally took the leap, got HGV licence, and have since moved on to full-time employment as a Class 1 driver. The journey hasn't been easy, I've had to fully fund it myself with the rise in cost of living but seeing your experiences and advice really gave me the confidence to go after something I’ve always wanted. You've not only inspired me to make a change that needed to happen but also to embrace the challenges that come with pursuing a new path in life. Thank you for all that you do-keep up the great work, as it’s making a real difference to people like me. Ps when you expanding to scotland give me a shout.. Best regards, Graham

Daniel you're a micro manager , most expensive yard supervisor in history If Terry leaves your in Sh*t because your in the yard and not in the office Basically off load some of your work to a trusted person for the yard work, give then a daily task sheet employ a mechanical guy who can look after the vehicles and plant you have on site and on lease, could be the same guy Do you visit long term lease machines make sure they are in good shape , no surprises when they return from lease. Your health is more important, the grave yard is full of micro managers that thought they were indispensable you think your running a sprint , no your actually running a marathon Best of luck

Been in business for years, built multiple companies within said business, gets a new property that he's working on making the way he wants, films a small part of his days during the week to show on youtube, im pretty sure he's doing fine. Just cause what people see him film, he wouldn't be where he is if he wasn't doing things correct.

@alexpeartree20193 ай бұрын
@@builtbymeI get your sentiment, but if you think he won't always be thinking of how to improve his life and his businesses that isn't how he's got where he has. Not saying that OP is right on this, but it would certainly free up some of his time for more forward thinking. Likewise thinking that Terry will never leave... One should always have a succession plan in place and I would imagine Daniel will have a plan already in place for that day.
@builtbyme3 ай бұрын
@alexpeartree2019 he's well ahead of the game. People need to stop thinking what's shown on youtube is what's actually going on. These videos are already 2 weeks behind. You literally see maybe 10 to 30 mins out of each day for 6 days. That's 3 hours out of at least 60 hours a week based on a 12 hour day. With at least 5 companies under one umbrella that were all built from the ground up many years ago, im gonna say confidently that he isn't micro managing anything, he has delegated what needs to be, and is always steps ahead. It's youtube, take it for what it is. You definitely won't ever see every hour of the day in a video.

Alge/blockage issue! A suggestion for the removal of algea and cleaning of pipes might be Hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach, this has a much more penetrating and oxidising effect than bleach and is also cheap! Secondly, the water tank you showed with alge build up (and others no doubt) are light permeable and so give rise to algea growth, a simple solution would be to paint the exteriors with black paint etc, that does not allow light to enter and algea to grow, that or a cover of some sort to exclude the light! Just a couple of thoughts that may help, or be cast aside as the ramblings of a madman! Haha! Keep up the brilliant work Daniel and crew!

I'm sure as part of your personal health you find time to meditate daily. It will keep you centered. I was wondering if you have a documented maintenance of troubles and preventive service log of all the machines. Having experience running high level computer banking systems back when Preventive Maintenance (PM) was required, it was easy to postpone of drop entirely. When that happens all hell brakes loose. Suggest you have a dedicated schedule and I guarantee that your machines will run longer. The pool chemical solution was brilliant.
