As a sweeper driver myself by profession you did a good job for a amateur Daniel. Also Noel has fixed up the beaten up truck that arrived at the yard into a very clean tidy vehicle and the paintwork and livery is the cherry on top.

You've actually revived something that looked like you'd hauled it out of the knackers yard. I dread to think how much this renovation cost but I know one thing; without having Noel on the payroll, it would not have been a financially viable project. Imagine what the labour costs would have been elsewhere. 🤯 I think it's great you've given this sweeper a new lease of life. I hope it serves you well for many years to come. I assume Noel is camera shy? I don't recall ever seeing him. He knows his stuff though, he's an asset to Ashville. Thankyou Daniel for the video. I wish you well on your endeavours.

it certainly looked like it had been ridden hard and put away wet! It puzzles me when stuff like that gets neglected considering the initial financial investment in buying it new. For an 8 year old vehicle, it looked like it was 28 years old!

Running costs on street sweepers are big. Lots of wear parts (suction tubes, vacuum nozzles), electrical, hydraulic, air and water systems with associated wiring and pipes/hoses running through tight gaps with lots of vibrations and grit, then you have all the brooms and rubbers.. The maintenance never ends.

I cannot believe the amount of disrepair on the Oakland Golf Club sweeper, shame on them for not maintaining the truck. It really gets up my nose when companies fail to maintain fleet trucks. Glad the truck is getting a new lease of life chromosome who will respect it. Well done Daniel but it's ashamed you've had to spend so much to get her roadworthy.

Suction box is too high mate need to lower the angel and you will get better suction. Little adjustments make a big difference in a sweeper. Definitely one of the nicest sweepers I've seen. Even nicer than my brand new one I had a few years old. Just goes to show you don't always have to buy new.

Rev it up bit more suction looks shit in the video. I used to drive exact same as that aswell as a 2017 scania g380 sweeper also make sure the roof vent is clean u will loose loads of suction from that.

Daniel please don’t stop the weekly videos, I’ve binge watch from the first video until today. You have grown in so many ways an now it’s just abruptly coming off. Don’t get me wrong for sure you need to take care of yourself so you are able to continue to grow the business. It’s just a shame that we can’t continue to see that journey of deserved success.
