A temporary fix are magnetic signs on the lorries until they get sprayed. The Ashville Maintenance guys are amazing. Those guys can fix anything..

Hey Daniel, You would be better off getting a Dell Thunderbolt dock, this will allow you to display to both your monitors and charge it all at the same time. While only connecting one lead to your laptop. The monitors would be connected to your dock etc.

You should get a Dell docking station for the laptop. You can hook the screens, headphones, networking, printer etc into the dock and then just whack one cable into the laptop when you plonk it down on the desk.

Hey Daniel, there's a company up North that specialises in building Unimog's to customer specifications...I picked one up from there ages ago going to America. They put ramps down and literally drove it into the back of the shipping container on my lorry lol they will literally build anything on the back for you...

Have you thought about getting one of those magnetic signs? You can just slap it onto the midland concrete logo temporarily until that gets sprayed. And suppose you could reuse it for any other truck that you might have to use before it gets properly sprayed.

Benz cars were right hand drive up until 1924. Although in Germany they drove on the right. The steering wheel was on the right so the chauffeur could get out quickly to open the door for the rear passengers. Only in 1924 was it decided that the driver should face oncoming traffic

Paint fat a yellow stripe down the middle of the roll on roll off trays/bins so that it covers the hook eye. Makes lining the wagon hook to centre of bin/tray easier.

We use harnesses on our MEWP kit, but have the combination descent arrest lines - they're part 'bungie' and part packed strap that slowly unravels under load. Different strokes, and all that - I only work in a Foodbank warehouse, but the need for safety is the same everywhere! Love the Unimog idea - just get one!

Doing the work to your VOLumetric VOLvos one at a time would let you do a sort of side by side/before and after comparison. Make yourself some magnetic Ashville signs for the meantime - they will be useful for hired or demonstrator trucks in the future.

Hi Daniel I thought the idea of doing cube testing is so that when you mix your concrete up and get on site you'll take a sample and get that sample tested so you know that the mix is correct as well as sample testing the various Aggregates

Dan, The Unimog is a bit older than you think... First producted in 1948 at Boehringer in Göppingen. Great vehicles and there are lots where I live, near Bitburg, Germany....My immediate neighbour has four or five all older than 30 years.....
