It’s not the Police Officers fault, they had know choice. Social media is the biggest downfall, the incident was filmed, if the Police had taken no action, then there would have been repercussions from the protestors “Saying how they are treated differently etc” if that incident hadn’t been caught on film I’m sure the Police would have used discretion. They wouldn’t have wanted to charge Terry, if there is any angst then it should be aimed at the CPS for following it through. As an officer on the ground something is being thrown at them it matters not whether that was Terry or the protestor, an officer still got injured. Terry is a good honest person and didn’t deserve it, he apologised to the officer in question and the officer was happy with that. The protestors demanded action and had video proof the Police had no choice. Blame the CPS for proceeding with it not the officers on the ground. Terry my heart felt condolences that you have been put through as an example. I hope you realise that it’s the CPS and not the Police. It’s wrong, but video evidence is hard to argue against, hence why his barrister advised him to plead guilty

Pro-tip. For the seized pin that won't take grease, use a portable hydraulic pump (port-a-power), and thread it into the grease nipple threads. Pumping oil to free the pin works great. Once it's free then go back to grease. Love the weekly videos!

The justice system in this country is pathetic, a hard working man like Terry gets penalised for doing his job. He got bad legal advise - looks like the lawyers aimed to close the matter quickly and at minimal cost. Had he fought the matter he had a good chance of winning or at the least in a worst case scenario of getting the same outcome - a conviction leading to a criminal record which he could then appeal etc. A custodial sentence was never likely on the agenda in such a trivial matter so it looks like the damage here was self inflicted on the back of bad advise. I very much doubt that Daniel would have taken the guilty plea in such a situation.
