MY DAD DOES THE SAME THING AS MAMRIE’S WITH BLACK TEA!!!! He goes to 7-Eleven every morning and fills a 2 gallon jug of straight black tea and always asks me to hand it to him from the back seat. He has immersed himself in the 7-Eleven employee drama and has strong feelings on the management situation because he goes there so frequently

Will this be Grace and Mamrie playing their dads? Will their aunts make a cameo appearance? Have we ever seen the moms portrayed in video? I have many questions about this.

I unfortunately lost my Dad three years ago. My Dad was a electrician at the Mayo Clinic. He worked there straight out of high school. He worked there for 33 years. And was able to take there early retirement plan to open up more job opportunities for younger people. But they gave all the people who did take them up on it a Great bonus of being paid and giving them a nice retirement fund. He actually had a really fun job. He had a nickname associated with his job. He was Dick (his first name was Richard) the lightbulb man. He walked around with his cart. It had a latter and all the different types of lightbulbs that they used. He would go to all twelve buildings associated with the clinic. He carried a pager and the electrician office would page him as to where he would need to go next. He was actually Busy all day long. And everyone knew him. It was annoying as a kid if I had a Doctors appointment. Because they would ALWAYS ask. Are you Dick the lightbulb mans kid???? He always had a new joke every day to tell the people he would see on his route.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story about your father, Ms. Allison. I'll admit that my reply is only self-serving because I've visited Minneapolis and I've been in the vicinity of the Mayo Clinic. I signed up as a potential donor for Be the Match, so perhaps I'll get to travel out there again!

Pineapple Immy Mayo is actually the last name of the founders of Mayo Clinic. It was founded in 1880 something. By brothers William and Charles Mayo. They now have branches in Florida and Arizona. There has been Mayo descendents ever since it was founded. It is a pretty incredible story if you are ever interested look up Rochester Minnesota.
