Venus always gave credit to the other players who beat her in matches, and repeatedly said what she needed to improve on ... Tbh there was often no love lost between many women tennis players... It's the same in a lot of women's sports. Some have good friendships but the rivalry on court often carries on off court .... Maybe it a women thing..
