Hi Mike, I have enjoyed this journey with you. You are doing something that I haven’t contemplated. At almost 70 I don’t think that I will do this. Regarding your price, I think it’s worth it given the hours that you put in. It’s like a dining table and chairs that I made, I won’t sell them because people won’t want to pay the price for my efforts and their uniqueness. I think hot rods are the same, each is unique and what you have done is left the canvas basically blank for the next person to make their own. I also like that you did this with basic tools to show that if anyone puts their mind to it and seeks the resources to follow they could do this. Thanks again from Townsville Australia.

Thank you so much. I’m glad you appreciate the build and my thoughts as to passing it onto the next owner to finish. I think it’s a great start for someone who wants to get into the hobby for a little effort to finish the car.

Thank a million Mike, I've had fun and enjoyed the ride. Learned a ton about how things go. Seeing is believing. You can read books and articles but this is way better for me. Also paid a lot of attention to the tools that you used and have purchased them as the videos evolved. Thanks for leaving the mistakes in and not leaving them on the cutting room floor. Also kudos on the effort it takes to put these shorts together. At times you spent as much time editing as you did working. But you made a commitment to your tribe and myself and many others appreciate it. Long live hot rodding!

Hey Mike, That neat hotrod sure is worth the amount that you will are asking. As you pointed out it has lots more content with far more detail than I expected. Plus an added value of having Videos available world wide of the build to look back on any time. I have certainly enjoyed every minute of watching the build. Probably because it brought back so many fun memories of building my AV8 roadster. I enjoyed the build, driving it as a daily and also cruises and car shows! Somebody will be enjoying that rod just like that! Really great for a beginner or an old timer like me with not so much time! :) Many thanks and all the best to you and Allie!..... Oh, I am also really looking forward to the video of the next Pine Tree Jamboree coming up!......

I've watched every part of this build and I thank you so much. I think you could/should raise your price; but honestly don't know what these go for in your area. I learned a lot of how to". I picked up a '30 thats complete minus a lot of glass, but it came with the two fenders, extra windshield frame and extra set of rims that i think are a little wider with heavier spokes. I'm sure the motor is stuck; last plated in '53..., but i'll un-stuck it and decide where to go from there with the drive train. Anyway, thank you and Listen to Sally brother! Have fun ;)

I have been following along for a while the sedan came out looking very good. I appreciate the workmanship and time spent making it a Hot Rod. I think the price will be reasonable for most drivers and the work has been documented so there are a lot of questions answered. It also gives me some ideas about where my 28 coupe should be on price.

@ThisOldHotrod Жыл бұрын
Hahaha. Gas tanks and fuel filters are all plastic on all modern cars… but the plastic fuel filter on this one is stupid. Another good one. Please keep these great insights coming … you make the world a much better place.
@sergeantmasson3669 Жыл бұрын
@@ThisOldHotrod Obviously, you've never had an engine fire because the plastic fuel filter cracked and caused a fire. Modern vehicles don't have plastic fuel filters exposed on the top of the engines. FYI, I'm a 50+ years master level factory certified auto/truck tech. Guaranteed that I've worked on, and restored, more classic/vintage vehicles than you. I also own an original all-steel '31 Model A 2 dr sedan that is powered by a Ford 351w engine. Far less grief than a Chevturd engine. Enjoy your delusions, PUTZ.
