He got parkinson or something. Not going to recover from it, but going slowly worse even with medication and all. What anyone can hope is just painless days and easier living etc.

The audio editor must’ve called in sick during post production. I would’ve failed my college editing courses if I turned in a video this bad. Unbelievable that this was on broadcast television!

it would have been very helpful to have explained why brick houses built before 1920 have to use mortar made of the original blend. Modern mortar doesn't play well with old mortar or old brick.

He reportedly has Parkinson's. Watching my Dad suffer from it I certainly hope it's not true, but Roger's decline over recent years is almost a mirror of my Dad's. I can only hope he's getting the best possible treatment and still doing well.
@the_DOS3 жыл бұрын
@@jblyon2 Does Parkinson's make you walk with a limp?
@jblyon23 жыл бұрын
@@the_DOS It impacts your gait since you can't properly control your muscles when walkimg. Shorter and sometimes odd steps as you try to control what your own legs are doing. It's a huge effort to lift your feet enough to keep from tripping His walk, arm movements, hunched forward posture, and facial drooping are my Dad exactly. He never developed the twitching/shaking which i think greatly delayed the diagnosis. Not everyone does despite that being the main symptom people associate with the disease.

This project aired in 2018 and is most likely his last season as a regular before Jen Nawanda comes in to replace him. As you can see Roger and the entire crew really aren't doing much on this project and were just basically there to film and provide input on things.

In the ~foot wide ceiling bays, the new plywood ceiling filler strip is shown but why is called called “6 inch pine” by Mark ?
@ttomkins48673 жыл бұрын
Its 6" wide tongue and groove pine boards. They are cutting them down to the length of the space, interlocking the t&g, and attaching to the nailing board bellow the insulation.
@Nill7573 жыл бұрын
@@ttomkins4867 thanks. sure looked like ply in the couple secs of vid. Another problem that occurs to me with this approach is that those ceiling stick joyce should have some cross bracing. If they do, then that wrecks the dust-dirt sound block from above plan.
