When Kate said she wanted to do a trip , it made me feel sad for our world . I so pray that soon we will all be able to travel all around the world. Our relatives were scheduled to come to California to tour colleges. They live in Minneapolis. Had to cancel, just last week. The daughter is a junior in high school. I live an hour from Kansas City, MO. It is amazing! Our state is called the Show-Me state. A lot of people get bored with it, but there's so much to see! The Lake of the Ozarks is another great spot.

When all of this stuff is over you do need to make a trip to Kansas City because it truly is a beautiful city. While you are here you need to see The Plaza, Hallmark Cards HQ, and yes Russel Stovers but we have a lot of other really neat things here. I live in a small sub call Belton which is South KC.

I would imagine that you do have at least one follower in every state. All of Missouri is pretty and Im not just saying that because I live there, but it truly is. We have Kansas City, Saint Louis, and Branson just to name a few of our cities. I prefer KC and Branson but that is just me.

I love muddy buddies! We made it a lot growing up but it's actually called puppy chow. Chocolate peanut butter is the original flavor. I live in Minneapolis,MN and our governor shut almost everything down for a minimum of 2 weeks but could be as much as 8. Even though the Mall of America is closed I'm lucky enough to work until the end of the month. Not sure what will happen after that

If you guys want to do do a road trip. May I suggest taking Interstate 90. It goes from Boston to Seattle a little over 3000 miles. At 60 miles an hour that's 50 hours non stop. But you'll probably want to make a pit stop or two (dz). Aplets and Cotlets candy kitchen is in Cashmere,WA and Brown and Haley factory is in Tacoma,WA. They make Almon Roca. You'll want to check Google for candy and snack company's along the way. I almost forgot you MUST visit Wall's Drug Store in Wall,SD. Happy trails

Caramel bugles are so nostalgic for me as when I visited America 9 years ago one of the first things we did after checking into a hotel was go to the servo and pick up snacks, Bugles being one of them. Absolutely love the sweet and savoury combo, wish we could get them here in Australia

The original Joe's Kansas City location is still in a gas station. If you time your carry out order just right, you can fill up your car and grab dinner at the same time. I haven't seen if you'd gotten the churro flavored Bugles, but they are my absolute favorite.

Kansas City is in both Kansas and Missouri, but all of the really exciting stuff is on the Missouri side. There’s also a few nice surrounding towns and suburbs, like lee summit, Olathe, Lawrence. They’re all great city’s but people often overlook it because out of all the bigger city’s, (Chicago, New York, Los Angeles) Kansas City is smaller and in the middle of nowhere so it’s quite a trip. But it’s such an amazing place to visit. Muddy buddy’s are also one of my favorites, it’s such a good game night snack. Love you guys btw and hope you’re staying safe!

Looks delicious! Have been to Missouri before. When I was a little girl I would put Bugles on all my fingers then eat them just like black olives (I still put black olives on my fingers sometimes.) We sometimes get the Brookside Dark chocolate covered pomegranates.

I was born in KC, Missouri an still have family up that way. The last couple years been awesome for the Sports Teams. The KC Royals Baseball Team won World Series in 2015 they hadn’t won a World Series since 1985. Then this year the KC Chiefs won the Superbowl first time in 50yrs! Pretty awesome for Baseball an Football Fans! My Nana is a huge Royals baseball fan her brother my Great Uncle got to play for them when he was a young man. They said he even had his own baseball card but it was so very long ago I’ve never seen it!

I'm from Kansas City, MO but lived in the UK for 4 years!! I've never been a big BBQ person (I know, bad Kansas Citian) but will defend our BBQ till I die. Anyways, when I was living in Liverpool seeing "Kansas Style" BBQ sauce in Tesco and for a bit at KFC felt very comforting. Also, the chocolate from KC that will always top Russel Stover for me that I haven't seen anyone send you is Christofer Elbow. It's a little more fancy and artisan, but soooo good.

Great video! I haven’t tried a few of these snacks yet. I love mud buddies!!! My fave is the Oreo pack. I never tried bbq sauce on my chips but it would prob be great on plain lays chips. I haven’t spent enough times looking at the Nice products in Walgreens because I’ve never seen those lemon chewy candies but tmw I’m going to take a look at Walgreens. I love lemon flavored everything. Thanks for still uploading videos for us! Over here in Florida we are advised to stay in but also told we can go out to places, just no group of more than 10 people. The beaches are open but we must be 5-6 feet away from other families. Hopefully things will start getting resolved by next month.

Gates BBQ sauce is still my favorite hometown barbecue sauce. It’s from the original old sauces from the early 20th Century with spicy vinegary tomatoey bases. The later sauces added more molasses and brown sugar to the spices, which is what most people think of as KC sauces now. I prefer the original type, but it is all good. Alex guessed correctly about the fountains. JC Nichols created the world’s first shopping center in the 1920s that had parking lots for cars as it was beyond the trolly lines. It was to give people who bought his then suburban homes on the far end of KC. He modeled everything on buildings he loved in Seville Spain. In his Country Club Pllaza were many fountains. It lit a fire among other real estate developers for water features and then civic leaders added to them. Before the City of Fountains, KC was known as the Paris of the Plains for its boulevard park system, which brought parklands and parkways throughout the city with statues and civic art, as well as flower gardens.

But sometimes I feel my best isn't good enough then I get wrong off my mam she says you can't do any more than you are at one point I was nearly on my knees I was that exhausted I had to have two days break it's hard work but I love my job as my mams carer wouldn't have it any other way much love to you both xxxxxxx

Kansas City is such a GREAT food city -- you DEFINITELY MUST do a food tour there when you can --- sadly on the other side of Missouri here, schools are closed until April 3rd, so are bars/restaurants (at least for two weeks), and my family's church just called off all activities for two weeks because of corona (in fact, just found out a friend of our family's pastor HAS corona confirmed, but he's from a county not near us) -- Finding new uses for the barbecue sauce and seasoning was hilarious! KC's nickname as "City of Fountains" originated in the City Beautiful movement in the 1890's, which was a reform philosophy of North American architecture and urban planning with the intent of introducing beautification and monumental grandeur in cities under the leadership of the upper-middle class concerned with poor living conditions on in all major cities -- the first fountain was designed in 1898, and it just stuck!

I love those square snack bags from Walmart. They are my fave and just the perfect size for snacks. Carmel Bugles are one of my favorite snacks but I’m having a hard tome finding them right now. I’ll keep looking. For my they are at least a 12 out of 10. 😍😍. I’m also not a fan of the English Toffee m&ms. They taste like coffee to me as well. My sister loves them. Have a great day. When you're ready to receive boxes again, I think we finally know what we'll be sending...nothing that will need to be filmed but so exciting for Kate. Sorry Alex. We'll continue watching to see if we can gather ideas. Also, most high school kids here start around 15 y/o (Freshman), 16 y/o (Sophomore), 17 y/o (Junior) and finish around 18 y/o (Senior).

Typically in the US, high school ages should generally be 9th grade (freshman) 14-15 yrs old, 10th grade (sophomore) 15-16 yrs old, 11th grade (junior) 16-17 yrs old and 12th grade (senior) 17-18 yrs old. For me, personally, I was 14, 15, 16 and graduated at 17 years old.
