I started crying. I’ve completely let my 9-5 jobs take over my happiness and turn me bitter and give up on EVERYTHING I wanted to do. This is so inspiring! Thanks so much Dan!!! 😘😘😘

I think of dreams as seasons. I started my career as an illustrator, grew into graphic design, and then became an Art Director. Later, I moved into creating designs for mostly all Non-Profits. I spent many years doing that but this past year, I needed a change. I decided to leave my job to build my own little brand. Here I am starting over again but to me, it’s just a new pursuit for a different season of life. Your dreams might change again but every dream pursued and tried, is a success. I wish you the best!

Walt Disney said "All our dreams can come true, only if we have the courage to pursue them." We can make every excuse in the world (you talked about excuses) of why we can't do something, but with courage and determination, we really can make our dreams happen! Good for you Dan! I'm pursuing a dream that at first I wasn't strong enough to finish...now I think I am! Congratulations on making your dream come true!😊

At some point in life, we will fail and some dreams won't come true. But we can always look for new dreams to achieve, discover new passion that we didn't know about, explore and discover what we're capable of. And one day a dream will come true. The most important thing is to not give up and trust yourself that you can do it. I know this sounds like a cliche but it's all true and sometimes we need cliches like this to move forward. Once again, not all dreams come true but some of them do come true. So whatever your dreams are don't give up. ~Dan So inspiring life lesson Dan. We're proud of you❤️

I have really missed you bedtalks! What would life be without failures? I believe that we learn from them. In day-to-day life, make us to push our own limits. In relationships, they open our eyes to show us who we really want in our lives. And even if it hurts sometimes, they make us discover that we are not as vulnerable as we thought. We need to survive! You are doing so well. You are working so hard. You deserve the best in live for sure ❤ Thanks for this bedtalk! 😊

Hi Danny, this is my first time sending a message to you. That was so honest and so beautiful to hear. You are such an amazing man. The advice you have given to many people struggling trying to decide to pursue their dreams is spot on. No matter how many defeats you have in life, the most important and ultimate win is: " to never give up". The road to achieving your dream is not a straight path uphill to the top, but with ups and downs. And every single experience is a lesson learned for success. Energies flow and when the timing is perfect, things happen. Thank you for being such an inspiration to many. Wishing upon the Universe much success, good health and happiness. 💜 Your fan.

thankyou for sharing this..i just feel like i could relate to you, i’ve experienced many things i planned didn’t work the way I expected in the past, but looking back at that time, it was the time when I grew the most, and I think that’s what’s truly matter, the lessons we learned and the person we became, it’s much valuable than any material lost imho, and I think Danny, perhaps, you didn’t get a role as an actor because someday in the future, you might be able to write and direct your own movie and cast yourself, there’s no limit, and i believe you will grow even more and you’ll be prepared to be the person who have all your dreams, take care and keep going! I’m so happy to find someone like you who’s not shy away from working on your dream, you will reap all your hardwork sooner or later. sending love from Bali🤍

Believe me, sometimes everything that goes wrong brings us exactly what was suposed to be from the very benning. Real dreams always come true, you just have to give you the time to realize who you were and who you are right now. Don't get bitter, don't give up. Sometimes the right dream was trying to find us all the time even when we were dreaming about the wrong path for us.

Thank you for this great bedtalk! It’s so necessary to talk about the fact that, even if you really want something and put everything in you to make it happen, some dreams don’t come true. I think real success is not in accomplishing all your dreams, but in seeing a “failed dream” as a new opportunity, a blank slate to pour in all your imagination and creativity! I hope you continue doing this bedtalks for a long time! Thank you also for your honesty and for having the courage to open up and being vulnerable in front of so many people😊

My heart was particularly heavy yesterday morning over dreams unfulfilled. Later, I was on KZbin looking for something completely different and came across a video that spoke directly to the crisis of faith I had earlier that day. I grew up with the song they covered and had not heard it in many years. It helped me refocus. Then, this morning, I woke up to an alert you posted a video. I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to see where your journey has taken you now. Once again, I felt so blessed and assured to stay the course - come what may. Thank you so much Dan for sharing your life with us. I am so encouraged (and informed) when you do. May every door that’s yours to walk through shine brightly, may the wisdom to steward all it beholds well flow freely to you, and may you continue to muster up your courage to be just vulnerable enough that others can’t help but grow alongside you too! 🌿🕊✨

Ooooo, you had me to tears with your soft voice and wonderful true words! Yes, you did very well! making me curios. I had several common dreams but none came true cause it depended on money or partner. Since then I only dream of projects I can do on my own cause I'm very reliable. 2 years ago I fell in love with Korean culture and started to learn all about Korea. With this experiences as an author my dreams are 1) to write 2 novels about Korea: "Kimchi's Sons" and "Men digging up lotus roots"are in progress 2) I started learning korean last year by a professional K teacher by video conference to Seoul 3) 2024/2025 two weeks sightseeing through Korea. This all can come true by my own (if I stay alive) AND therefore I will visit your beautiful bar after arriving at Incheon airport! May be I will have good luck to meet you in person. You are such an excellent narrator... you as young generation gave me already reality input for my books. 😻😻Regards from Austria, Europe

Well said and thank you for sharing -- no doubt validating and encouraging many others going through similar challenges. I'm happy for you to realize / manifest one of your dreams. You seem like someone with a strong work ethic as well as self reflective... self knowledge / awareness (ever evolving), pursuing passions and enjoying the process are most important, rather than stressing and forcing something to happen... and keeping open to where struggles, obstacles and signs in our path may be guiding / redirecting us. Thinking of another cliche about the journey being more important than the destination -- especially ensuring one is fully living aware, awake and engaged in our present moments, people & relationships, beauty and opportunities before us. Letting go, moving on & forward... yes -- key to grace, movement, growth and making space... Nothing is more important than one's inner peace and keeping heart, mind, soul and welcoming door open... blessings and joy ~

I really am happy to see a talented young man like you recognize the truth in the saying that while some things dont work out, this also means that some DO work out. For me I realized that I failed to gain true success because I hadn’t defined that word as it pertained to me. It’s late in my life now, I’m retired and seeking a definition for what success can mean for me now. Define it and go find it, right? All the best to you! I cant wait to see what you choose as a new path!

You know Dan, we always put alot of emphasis on achieving and forget the journey we take. The journey is the important part and the achievement or failure is only the result. And then it depends on your attitude. Although you don't sound like you are punishing yourself for not achieving a goal, possibly you are. Have you ever looked at your other jobs as acting a part? Yes, some dreams will never become true. Let it go and something new will starting. Sometimes it is the wrong time. I have been interested to visit Korea years ago. But it wasn 't possible. I never thought it will be possible, but now I am visiting Korea. I enjoy it so much. I realized, that all my wishes come true in their own way. Some became real, some of them are there, but in their own way and different as suposed to be, some faded away to make space for new idears. That is the way it goes. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and impressions.

Hi Dan. Unfortunately, dreams are not always realistic. You have a dream and then life comes between. Plus, life is change. But you have to keep some dreams in order to face life positively or to escape the facts of life sometimes. The goal is somewhere in between. When one door closes, another opens. Just stay positive, with new ideas and fun in life. Greetings from Amsterdam. Simone

Even though (I feel) I'm less capable than you, I know that if I just get on with something it will in time just click. I was doing everything great up until a few weeks back, then I hurt myself-not terribly badly, but I wasn't studying my Polish and worst of all I wasn't doing any regular exercises. Whilst I haven't gotten back into it, even now I know I will have to simply because doing otherwise (for me) will and is truly depressing. LOL Maybe one day you will get to do a bit of acting. But like you (I'm sure) my biggest problem is I can get interested in too many things at once and, as you know that can put a drain on your commitments. Good luck for the present and future there Dan in everything you do-you're an inspiration. ;)

I’ve been following you for awhile but I never posted anything and I feel that I need to say something today. I don’t believe in failure. There is no failure in life. Not because something didn’t work out it doesn’t mean you failed. You didn’t fail Danny. It wasn’t meant to be and you can take the lesson you learned from it and make something bigger , better. Thanks to you I’m taking Korean lessons with Italki and I’m enjoying it. One item in my bucket list is to come to your bar one day. Thank you. Fighting.

So proud of you! We made a huge decision right before Covid. It required a complete change of pace for me. It involved all the things ( with the exception of animals) that we had done in small scale in our urban yard. We had to leave behind family and friends, but it has ultimately been one of our best decisions! We have met awesome “framily”-friends who are family and learned soooo much. I miss my older kids like crazy, but the opportunity, like yours, was too good to pass up on so we went for it! Failures are lessons learned :)

I'm so Glad one of your dreams has come true and hope it continues to be successful....I love your soothing voice Dan I don't read books as I get impatient to find out the ending but if you did a voice over to read a book I would so listen to it with baited breath 😁...also I can't believe you didn't get any cast calls I have watched many a K drama and movie and to me you have the full package tall dark handsome and you speak excellent English which is a bonus in most K dramas maybe that dream may still come true if you want it 😁 stay safe and Healthy Dan till the next bed talk xx

Thank you Dan. I appreciate your honest viewpoint on failure vs lessons learned. I heard someone say once, "Success is learning to get back up faster with the next fall." I remember the construction frustrations you had in the beginning which I am sure has made you wiser. The reason for opening the wine bar was interesting, but I can relate about having people in personal space. Have you bought a couch yet for the living room? Nice to meet up again. Take Care.
