Holy mother of god - a near collision, flying past massive boulders and a hard hitting crash all within minutes. Talk about edge of my seat. Hope you’re ok, that sounded nasty.

You guys on these modern bikes are fast as hell. Out of curiosity I slowed the video down to see what took you down and low and behold watermelon size rocks sticking out of the ground, probably the top of a buried 40 ton boulder. Decades ago I was slammed to the ground racing out at red mountain because of those cantaloupes and watermelons. Its a bitch not being able to breath normal for what seems like minutes while laying in the desert, and then theres the next morning trying to roll out of bed lol.

I had to pause the video to be sure the play speed was set to "normal" instead of "ludicrous"

Don't let it bring you down. This guy is definitely Elite and pushing hard. Plenty of ways to have fun and race without quite this much risk.

Looking good as usual Trevor. How was the kx450x compared to the yz450fx in the desert? Man that crash happened so quick, looks like you found that buried rock all of us hate. I hope you were good to go.

The KX handles really well, but the transmission kind of holds it back in comparison to the FX. Only having a 5 speed mx tranny can be kinda tough at times, but overall it is a really good bike. I’d put it just behind the Yamaha
@Miasdaddy7 Жыл бұрын
@@TrevorHunter224 And the Kx450x is like the CRF450rx and they run the close ratio gearbox still instead of having the wide ratio 4th and 5th. And that would suck on the open areas unless you hear them to the moon but that in return hurts you in the technical areas.

Great riding Trevor. Super smooth, how was the kx450x ?

REALLY good. This bike handles really well at speed and the motor is tough to beat

@@TrevorHunter224 that is awesome news. How does it compare to the YZ450FX? The thing I don’t is why they don’t equip the off road bikes with the wide ratio gearbox like the fx, crf450x, and the euro bikes have.
@TrevorHunter224 Жыл бұрын
@@Miasdaddy7 It's similar yet different in a lot of ways. Both have a lot of chassis comfort and stability -- the YZ probably having a little more stability. The Yamaha motor is faster and the transmission is really nice for off-road, but the Kawasaki can be geared right for the conditions, it just isn't as broad. Overall, the Yamaha is more of an off-road bike in every way but they are my top 2 450's as of right now.

@@TrevorHunter224 that’s pretty sweet man. I have a 2019 450fx myself and I agree with you on comments. I love it. I have always been a fan of the green, but after I made the switch to Offroad racing and riding the Yamaha suited me the best so far. Does the Kawasaki 450x have the air fork like the mx bike or did they change it. How do you think it would be with a wide ratio transmission in it?
