This is great. The ventures I think in 1962 when Nokie was first joining the band put out a album called "the ventures play the country classics". If you like this on any level, look up the that album, it's well worth a listen. You get to hear Nokie play a bit like Jimmy Bryant(check him out too!)

As you know, this song has been written in the memory of the french picking guitar player Marcel Dadi who was a great friend of Thom Bresch and the "transcriptor" in France of Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Doc Watson...

thom this is a beautifully written piece ..i found out about you only about a year ago as i was thumbing through some old jerry reed songs..i love the chicken picken sound and style and nokie is a legend ..very good
