We really need 1-hour version of these. I love this series!

@@ThomannSynthesizers respectfully, in my opinion Toby was boring, it was all about bragging and fetishising his gear but in terms of music he is bringing nothing new to the table in this point in history with his cliché sounding Jupiter 8, he was passioned talking about how cool is this or that synth but he said nothing what he can do uniquely that no one else has done with those machines. “jupiter 8 is absolutely beautiful and absolutely super boring and not interesting” Personally i pass on veterans that want to stay relevant through gear fetishising. always respectfully my humble opinion

Very nice, whenan artist don’t brag and don’t own an sh101/909/808 and a silly priced original 303, it means is good sign that he might have something artistically original to share. His Individual Authenticity and Creativity came out crystal clear, i would have happily seen 1 hour of this guy talking. bravo

Get into arrangement view as soon as possible. Best advice on the planet.

That was great, and very Dutch! It's nice that he limits himself to just a few pieces of gear. I think it makes a big difference and you can really stary to nail a particular characteristic sound. Really cool video.

He seems a cool guy, like his vibe. Get into arrangement view and finish a tune, great advice. Trouble is, to me its the most boring part and I hate doing it - am sure fellow amateur producers here agree! Jamming out is such fun. My best tip would be once your happy with your setup/process stick with it for as long as you can - quit with the gear acquisition syndrome. Peace people

Soundcraft Ghost ..I used to have the 24 Channel Version - they sound so good and the EQ nice too. Sounded to me like it had a much bigger "professional" sound than say the Mackies, Spirits etc. If you want to get something on a budget that shares some of that mixers attributes (including that "big sound") then the Soundcraft M Series (M8,M12)
