In terms of pure destroyer they are both elite, Casemiro is better in interceptions but I always see interceptions, sliding tackles, aggression etc as playing styles rather than mediums of rating a player. Partey likes to be on the ball more and Casemiro prefers being direct. Conclusion, if I play possession based footy, I would pick Partey and Casemiro in a more transitional setup. More of like Ederson and Alisson comparison

Partey's tackle clean and his passes are more accurate , hence I will go for better though both are good.

As a neutral, they are on par with each other. An Arsenal or Man U fan will swear their player is better. Stats say they are very similar. There is NO BETTER PLAYER. However, the eye test may likely give it to Partey because of his ability to disguise passes better. Despite that, their passing end results are the same. Partey might be ahead on Goals and Assist contributions, but Casimero has the bigger player profile being path of the Brazilian squad. The only real bone of contention between them is the red cards issue. Casimero has /will miss at least 7 games this season because of indiscipline.

I will agree with the fact that they are on par. However, I do enjoy Partey's dribbling and disguised passing. It's like he has many legs when you see him do that. In La Liga I'm a RM fan which made me a Casemiro fan as well. The downside of Partey is injury record especially after coming to EPL, and for Casemiro is the red cards record also after coming to EPL.

How? Casemiro has 4 goals and 3 assists in 24 epl matches while Thomashole Partey has only 3 goals in 28 matches.? Casemiro is so underrated. Plus casemiro has 3.2 takes per game Versus 2.1 tackles per game by Partey and casemiro also have more interceptions.

The thing you need to understand is that Partey is not your average CDM. He's an actual footballer with skills on the ball. He can defend but that's only a small part of his game. What he has you just can't teach. He can dribble, short pass, long pass, turn on the ball, control the ball, tricks and turns, header, shooting, positioning, standing tackles, sliding tackles, controling tempo/rhythm of matches, screening defenders. In short, he has elite footballing brain. I just wish he didn't get so many injuries. Coz when he's there in the midfield, I just breath easier and you see the whole team gains a level of confidence boost. I'm in love lol. Next to Declan Rice, they can dominate any team! Casemiro has some of Partey's qualities, sure. And maybe some he excels a bit more at. But Partey is FAR more complete. Didn't check, but I bet Arsenal's loss percentage with him in the team is very low. I just pray Zinchenko and Jorginho are sent packing this summer. 🙏 They are good but in fleeting moments. They are fools gold. Zubimendi is the only one I have seen who might have some good portion of Partey's game. But he will want to be a starter and I don't want that. So Onana from everton as backup would be a great signing in my opinion.

Casemiro is literally a player that can win games by being in a team. Without scoring or progressing play. By his ability to read the play and his positioning with his tackling and timing with his aggression. He shut down Liverpool in the CL final, the most important player on that pitch that day. I genuinely think he would be more valuable to arsenal than partey. He’s not as good on the ball, but deep line passes, progressive passes are equal if not better. But his defensive ability is so superior. It could have been the difference between arsenal beating the bigger teams and not dropping points in some of their games when they’re having to defend.
