3 months ago I watched my first tutorial about creating videos, which, by the way was yours. After these 3 months of hard work I can see one of my videos in this tutorial (4:52)... Mind Blowing!! It shows me that if you have passion and you dedicate yourself 100% to improve your skills, you can achieve whatever you want! And it's just the beginning :)

I'm taking this to heart. That's why instead of partying on a Saturday night, I'm editing videos for my KZbin channel. I want to build something great, and the only way I'm going to get there is by hustling.

Savage video man. Love the part about focusing on what you don’t want in your shot as much as what you do want. Helps you really to focus on what’s important to make those rich shots!
@Preacherski6 жыл бұрын
Perfect point on deciding what you don’t want in your shot. I been trying to focus more on that for past few days. It’s easy to get tunnel vision and not see rubbish in your shots until you start to edit.

Thomas! In your example at 5:25 you are comparing not only the angle but the speed (or fps) which does make a big difference.

Been making some content recently for a farming client, and really had to get ruthless on the filming and editing. It's where really storyboarding and planning comes in to play on client work. That said though, my daily vlogs are off the cuff, so if I end up shooting a shot a few times to get what I want, so be it, especially when it comes to B Roll stuff.

Hi AN, can you tell me what your thoughts on video editing workflow? Method 1. drag ALL videos into editor Method 2. convert all videos into smaller files, and then edit and then replace. aka offline editing. Method 3. break up your videos in A will use, B, might use, C, maybe wont use, D, definitely wont use unless desperate. Method 4? I struggle to get organized with so much footage I bring back from trips.

Maybe a question : how can I get a blur effect on the background of my video... or the opposite ? Can I do that with a gopro (I suppose not). Or maybe in post production ? Or maybe with my Samsung S8 ? Thanks ! Yves
