I still find it REALLY interesting that Emily can interact with the CGI variants, AND the CGI versions say her name. It leads me to believe that Mattel was planning to make more CGI talking engines before the switch to AEG…

The all engines go talking. Emily is admittedly pretty good. Even the coach that she comes with is really good. I wish that Mattel bothered giving Kana some coaches on her own.

i went to a local walmart. there were 2 talking emilys. i pressed one of the buttons on one emily, it said "hi guys" and then the other emily said "hi emily"

This is something I’ve noticed with my talking engines (of which I have thomas and nia), nia doesn’t say anything hall the time. Why is that?

I've noticed it too! Some of them just aren't as talkative. It's rather odd. My first which way bridge set was that way too.

Yeah they can! Emily existed in the CGI Series.

Can she fit on TOMY tracks?

Yes and no: since the Redesign to TM2, The engines have a lower chassis which sticks on Tomy tracks groves, while they are the same gage and she will fit, she will not run in them. They also don't get good traction on Tomy rails due to the gear wheels.
