I like this dude. I usually find German accents too harsh but this chap is very pleasant to listen to. Doesn’t sound like he’s in a hurry like most KZbinrs! Nice and chilled out and uses pauses and explains things well. I also love how he says “schteinberg” in the true german way. I also love dom sigalas videos but I am finding those constant zooming jump cuts really annoying!

This one you probably have to watch twice, but instructive and creative. I think it is because he is speaking (for him) a foreign language, so he goes at a slower pace than those whom we will not mention by name ,and so is more understandable.

Thanks for the tutorials! It's worth noting however that Audiowarp is available only in Artist and Pro (maybe it was available at the time of recording)

VERY Nice, indeed, but I encountered a big, big problem in my Cubase Pro 12. When I downloaded the first audio clip (exactly like the one Thomas recommended from Mugent) and set my purple loop, when it returned Da Capo, there was a horrible glitching sound. So, I extended my loop by holding ALT and dragged to copy it again, but it got even worse. The first audio clip bumped into the copy of the same audio clip making a horrible extra drum sound. Of course, when the loop returned to the beginning, the ugly glitch was still there. I also see that some of the audio clips are not even with the beat lines on my workstation. Some extend beyond the beat lines (the lines that tell you if the beat is divided by quarter, 8th, 16th, etc.) I saw how Thomas copied the clips over and over without any bumping sound or extra drum beat. HELP! What am I doing wrong? Is there any button I need to activate?

Hi Thomas, Is it at all possible to play a project in Cubase and sing along with fx in the mic and all the sound coming out of my studio monitors. This is a no brainer in cakewalk, simple to set up, but I'm going round in circles, driving me mad trying to achieve this in Cubase. I don't think Cubase can do this. Can you help? Cubase Pro 11 and Windows 10, RME FireFace 400.

Hello Thomas! Is it possible to use the Audio Part Editor to do precise cutting of an audio file in order to adjust a loop for example? The issue is that if I double click on an audio event, I get the Audio Part Editor but I do not see the scissors nor crop function in the toolbar, even after I use the Range selection tool to select the zone I want to keep... Thank you!

Excellent tutorial. This is right in my wheelhouse as I used to manipulate audio samples in the old days of Sony Acid Pro 6/7. I've used Cubase Pro since version 6 (and sold a few tunes along the way to aspiring musicians), but this overview is very helpful. Your sample website is innovative and intuitive. The catalogue is similar in purpose to the wav forms once available in Acid and the Audio Warp function in Cubase works similarly as the tempo allows you to match the project BPM without degradation of quality. Do you offer any paid tutorials which I could purchase to get a deeper dive into the intracies of Cubase audio editing/recording as well as MIDI manipulation? I am currently using a Yamaha Montage 7 interfaced with Cubase 10.5 Pro and I feel I'm just scratching the surface of potiential possibilities. Thank you.

This didn’t really explain recording audio. ?? This was weak weak. Showed how to route one bus of audio. Didn’t show anything about setting up audio for recording actual instruments or does anyone know how to do that anymore. This was not a useful video.. please remake this video and spend more time on bus routing the audio. I still can’t believe that after all this time you still have to manually assign your audio channels to Bus channels. Like WTF isn’t that figured out to be arbitrary and automatic like most good Daws...

Hi Bob, you're right, it wasn't about recording, but then again, the title of the vid was "audio tracks", and for around 90% of users of these products, they are only interested in finding samples and dropping them in (which is fun in its own right but that isn't recording). Anyway, I don't quite understand your criticism of using buses, as far as I am aware, that's pretty common. Joey.
