You need the foot attachment is going to be protecting your furniture so when you clean the floor doesn’t whet wet or get damage the attachment are very low looks very nice

I used a small upholstery/carpet cleaner on the couch after a puppy urine accident and it worked very well. Ended up pulling up a lot of dirt/dust that I didn’t even know was there.

Great question! I’m not super familiar with fabrics, but upon googling it does appear to be similar to a chenille type fabric. My cat hasn’t necessarily used it as a scratching post but has gotten a claw stuck and it did pull up a thread, which I just trimmed off. I would not consider it a cat-friendly couch if your cat likes to scratch furniture!

After a couple years of use, I probably wouldn’t recommend it. It’s too firm and the back isn’t high enough to support your head or neck. We don’t use the foot rests at all given how short they are.

Does it have good lumbar support? I need a warm gray (taupe). Would it work?

I would say if you have your feet up on the ottoman, it adequately supports your lumbar spine. If your feet are on the ground, a throw pillow behind your back does the trick. It’s honestly super comfortable, and the color is I would say a light taupe so may be what you’re looking for.

I have this couch and two cats, definitely need to vacuum the couch regularly (weekly for me cuz 2 cats), but it cleans well (puke, food, dirt) and always looks brand new after vacuuming!
