Awesome gun . They put that 30m1 carbine in few revolvers from ruger . Cool caliber served ww2 and after. Before the modern 300blk.

Yeah James I like that little 30 Carbine round. Fun for plinking and it does well in the M1 Carbine too.

Great video Cervus! My father-in-law bought one when they first came out for less than $200.00. I saw a used one recently for $1000.00 that was a little rough.

Thanks Charles! If I recall I think I got this one in the three fifty range back in the day. I was at a gun store last week and they had one for sale at the same price you mentioned. I just can't see paying that myself.

I shot this gun years ago and Hunter‘s pistol. I could get inch and a half groups at 100 m with a 10 power scope. I loaded it down to 38 special power so it wouldn’t kick so much. It was extremely accurate and the brass would last forever since it had spaced on the brass itself, they are really rare

Very cool. I've saved the brass, but I don't have a die set for this one yet. If I do get to reload some I'll follow your lead and load them likewise. Thanks.

Thanks for watching Tex Mex! I probably should do a video with with the 30-30 barrel and one with the 7-30 Waters barrel. Hopefully when they start making them again they will be affordable and people can buy them.

Yeah, I saw a few barrels at the gun show, but they were expensive. That's okay as TC is starting production again. Hopefully they make some of these old contender barrels.
