I used to wake up at 5am just to watch CMT music videos. I reminisce often of how much more morality this country had in 2000. After 9/11/01 it seems like every year has gotten a bit worse than the year before it. Today, I don’t know how anyone could even keep up with everything happening in the world at this very second. Update: (because of all the sincere replies) after living apart for awhile, we made some changes to our work life and agreed that what we wanted was a different life with each other, not a life apart. Thank you everyone for the kind words. We're working on it, and keeping sight of the things that matter most to us. I was lucky to have good friends who convinced me to make adjustments to my work schedule that prioritized her...so far those changes have made a really positive difference, and while we're mindful that we aren't out of the woods yet, we're hanging in there. Thank you again for saying such nice things...I couldn't let you all think it was just a sad ending.
