The one which is most talked in the movie belongs to the northern part of Kerala. I believe it was the first time a malayalam film has shown that slang through out. It was fun to just listen to their talking. This only mallus can enjoy.

Fahad, one of the most beautiful films of the recent past, you guys watched the trailer already) 5. Kammattipadam (directed by Rajeev Ravi, the cinematopher of T&D, GoW, DevD etc, an excellent film in the "gangster" genre dealing with caste) 6. Sudani from Nigeria (one of the best sports movies that has come out of Malayalam) 7. Mayanadi (one of the best Romance movies that has come out of Malayalam, directed by Aashique Abu whose film Virus "you liked, but didn't love") 8. Take Off (feat. Fahad, a brilliant thriller about the ordeal of Indian nurses in the city of Tikrit, Iraq, in 2014, you'll be introduced to another brilliant actor Parvathy, who you may have seen in Qareeb Qareeb Single with Irfan) 9. I think Fahad Faasil is the only one which can fill the void created by the demise of Irfan Khan. He can pull any role perfectly given to him.
@aleenaprasannan21464 жыл бұрын
If Fahad Faasil sees this comment, it's going to hit him deep. He had mentioned that Irfaan was the actor who made him return to Kerala from US and start acting in movies in Indian again

@@aleenaprasannan2146 I didn't know it. This is so awesome to know that. I have seen few of his movies and became a fan. Presently he is my fav actor.

Rule number 1 : Don't compare every movie to Kumbalangi nights, it the one of the most recent movies, with every movie the quality of malayalam film industry is becoming better and better....

The said director (Dileesh Pothan) is also an actor. He played the police officer role in 'Kumbalangi Nights' and plays the customer role who comes into Fahad's studio to get the photo clicked in 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' (You can see him in trailer posing for the photo). Watch 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' next.

Wow awesome review I hope you guys get a chance to review Malayalam movies “ Bangalore Days” and “Ustad Hotel” both good movies with good stories,...and good acting.These were my first foray into Malayalam cinema and I never went back after that. 😀😀 Every 9 out of 10 Malayalam movie I watch I just end up loving.😊😊

Amazing review. Thing that you got most of the nuances is mind-blowing.

You may wanna explore people other than Fahadh Fasil. People like Nivin Pauly (Premam, Bangalore Days(featuring Fahadh and Dulquer Salman as well), Action Hero Biju and many more), Dulquer Salman (Bangalore Days, Charlie and many more). These are new generation actors. There's a series of legends like Mohan Lal, Mammootty and supporting actors like Nedumudi Venu, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar and list goes on. Movies like Kireedam, Kilukkam, His highness Abdullah, Thenmavin Kombathu, Nadodikkattu, Bharatham. It's just a tip of an ice berg. Malayalam industry is huge. An entire life time is not enough.
@sanjukrishnanbww4 жыл бұрын
Please watch Kireedam or Bharatham. They are on Hotstar. Old movies. If you like those, I can help you open up to a series of amazing movies from the Ma-la-yaa-lam industry.

This review reveals that you guys are real movie lovers. You guys know how to enjoy movies. Most of the malayali movie audience enjoys movie the same way you guys do. That is the reason these kind of movies become commercially successful in Kerala. I never thought you wil ever get nuances like cast system mentioned in the movie. You guys also noticed the scene where Fahad Fazil's character didn't hit the other guy with the rock even though he had an opportunity to do so. With that screen that character get a completely new dimension. I came to know that the screen play originally has a background story for Fahad's character.but they decided to drop that. I think that was a great decision.

Hey @OSR, the reason you guys recognize Suraj's face is, you have reacted to one of his movie trailer before. Remember "Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25" ? Suraj was the actor who played the old man in that movie.

I can't really get over the fact that you missed the chance to watch the classic 'Manichitrathazhu'. You missed some of the best acting scenes. Ok, I hear you Korbin, it's my problem and I will get over it. This review was really good. Enjoyed it and you didn't fail to catch the nuances.

Hi Rick and Korbin.. I have followed you two from the very beginning.. I really like the content you make. They are simple and honest. It is infact a very smart move to call yourselves stupid.. Welcome to mainstream malayalam cinema. The fun fact is these are the kind of movies our children grow up watching, this is an everyday/ weekend movie on malayalam television and for a malayalee this is not an art fest movie. I appreciate the effort you took to break past subtitles and cultural biases.. good job guys..

The police men except the old guy are actual police men Also for next malayalam movie watch 'ayyappanum koshiyum ' . It's not staring fahad fasil but the acting is really good and has a great story. Also pls react to the trailer
