I've been critical in my last two postings, but this was a good matchup with the proper outcome. I thought you were going to confine this to the movie versions. In that scenario, even though we don't know much about Blackbolt, I could see him getting the win. The best versions of Thor, like Cosmic King Thor, Rune King Thor, would decimate the best version of Blackbolt.

That wasn't the real Black Bolt; that was a Slrull. And two separate times before Hulk faced the Inhuman King and got laid flat with just a whisper. Black Bolt has also taken down Gladiator and hurt Sentry with his voice.

His power was diminished somehow by the blast of the Terrigen bomb, yet he still managed to destroy Thanos armor and tear small chunks off his flesh-about as much damage as a black hole once did to the Mad Titan.

Great fight. I had to come around on Black Bolt. I now believe he has the most powerful attack among Superheroes save the Godblast which is a one off. It’s true Thanos tanked his shout but Thanos had already tanked everything Thor could throw at him and BlackBolt was the only hero to not only damage his armor but make him bleed ( and pissed off). To my dismay BlackBolt also seems to get more universal respect from his peers. He is always referenced with an awe and fear for his voice. I think Thor might tank a shout from BB but probably only one without using Mjolnir as a shield while BB could brawl with Thor for a while. BB shattered every one in Hulk’s body with his “master stroke” before while a less powerful skrull imposter BB nearly took out WWH with a whisper. Ultimately Thor is stronger and more durable and in a physical fight he wins but BB has an OP power that doesn’t run out of ammo. Cosmic entities have taken note of BB. Thor’s my guy but could go either way. BB has one shot Heavies like Vulcan, Gladiator, Terrax and Hulk with his voice.

Also, Gladiator's ears are very sensitive just like Superman's and that's the reason the ear whisper was efficient against Gladiator. So while Thor does hear prayers from galaxies away, it's more of a divine thingy rather than him having really sensitive hearing so i think if BB did that to Thor, he'd tank it and keep fighting
