Today in the Battle Arena, well we've got quite the fight! Thor is one of the most powerful Avengers, a guy who's fought against Hulk and Thanos, wields Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, and is best friends with Iron Man and Captain America. In the other corner, well we've got Steppenwolf, guy who's fought against the Justice League, fought Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman, and is arguably just as powerful as Doomsday and Darkseid. One of Marvel's greatest heroes against one of DC's most powerful villains. So who's coming out on top here? Well lets find out!

@ESROM KEFFELA he did considering Steppenwolf regularly battles the justice league on I think 2/3 occasions. The difference was the power amps of those characters cyborg and flash. So I think it would be a good fight since Steppenwolf is faster on combat and similar in strength with thor considering he sent Wonder woman and Aquaman flying with his punches. his durability is also nothing to scoff at. He took punches from superman and could actually get up easily if clark allowed him to. It was also said that he fought doomsay and both couldn't put down each other. So durability must have been comparable to doomsday who fought dawn of justice wonder woman and Superman and kryptonite blasts from batman. Im not saying Steppenwolf would win every time, I'm not saying he would win once out of 10 fights but he could give thor a good fight. Im trying to make people not sleep on Steppenwolf. He's a tough villain to beat

The film version of Steppenwolf is far different than the original one that Kirby depicted. The ridiculous horned helmet was a simple cap. He was a warlord, not a combatant. Things wrong in this vid. 1. Wolf is easily faster than Thor. Thor has 0 speed feat that even comes close to WW. 2. Wolf has been proven to be fighting for longer than Thor, and on average, against stronger opposition. So no, Wolf has significantly more battle experience which translates to better skills since we can't compare their training. 3. Wolf is also physically stronger than Thor. No, the forge planet is actually not as big as a planet, unless you have a problem with depth perception and common sense. It wouldn't even be as big as some islands irl. WW and AM also both have better strength feats than Hulk and IM. 4. Wolf has been "tagged" by "Cyclops" when he wasn't trying to dodge/block his attacks unlike the time when he fights AM and WW. I agree that Thor would win, but primarily because of Stormbreaker.

I agree that Thor would win but not because he has more experience than Steppenwolf, I think it's quite the opposite, Steppenwolf conquers worlds and is judging from the battle with the greek gods earlier in the movie, this was thousands of years prior to today. Thor takes this on strength and how tough he is, Steppenwolf poor outcome in the fight with Superman is not a bad showing really, Thor would not do much better against superman.

Catching the missile is not really a good feat showing for Steppenwolf though. @@danielmlinar4892 30km/m(not /hr)the booster phase for a missle usually takes up to 4mins for it to reach 150km-200km,the initial launch phase before the booster phase kicks in is way slower, that's why it always looks as if a missle is hand thrown before the boosters kick in so yea, catching that missle wasn't that impressive compared to Thor deflecting the beams from the Destroyer armor and blocking the laser-like blasts from the chitauri. Worthy Captain America is basically a tactical minded Thor and unlike Thor, he doesn't rely on his strength and experience alone in battle so there's no way Steppenwolf would defeat Cap let alone awakened Thor. Feat-wise, Steppenwolf is basically a slightly amped Loki(for lack of better comparison)
