I got a wad some years ago where I also fractured my 2. and 3. rib in the chest. Since then I've had pain, swelling and heat at the medial head of the clavicle. This last year it has really picked up momentum. My right scm gets swollen and undefined, and insanely painful, like a burning pull down to the clavicle. There's a hard lump behind my ear, about where scm inserts. There's now painfree swelling above the lateral 1/3 of my clavicle. External treatment (massage etc) does not help. I don't know where to turn for help, my physio is very good but unsure of how to go about this (he's mainly working on the large herniated c6 disc). Can you suggest something, anything really, I could try? I'm desperate and don't know which specialty this would fall into (except physio, but we have such limited time).

@@Sylorinnis I’ve treated several TOS patients (venous and neurogenic) successfully with conservative treatment, and have venous TOS myself. Yes, many patients do need surgery, but just because there’s a lack of research papers out there like many things we treat as physios doesn’t mean it can’t be treated successfully! Happy to have you in clinic to chat further if you want! :)

@@garrett3726 What exactly do you do if you have a patient with TOS? From testing to treatment?
