Raw truth! I am guilty of all of this, lack of consistency, not putting my health as priority, letting the day to day control my emotions and actions. It is a work in progress but I am 22lbs down since I started listening to you, tracking macros, eating healthier and working out. Appreciate all your help and advice!!

I absolutely love this video! I’ve tried every diet, program, PT you name it. I kept thinking I just needed to find the right program for me but I could never find success in anything I tried. My stepsons are PTs and going to school for this. I have so much knowledge on fitness and health thanks to them but it means nothing if I don’t apply it to my daily habits. I’m very science driven and I love to hear your perspective on why most people don’t see results when they try these fad diets/programs. This is harsh information but it’s 100% necessary for many people to hear because we think there’s some magic solution when in reality it just requires some effort and self discipline.

This is why I follow you. You speak the truth, you don’t sugarcoat anything, and you aren’t just trying to make money off of people. I made the decision to eat better and move more. Finding you though added so much more value to what I’ve been able to do and I’ll never be able to thank you enough.

Honestly, you’re right. I’ve recently found a passion in cutting firewood, hence how I found your content. I don’t believe being honest like this should be considered harsh, more of a wake up call. Thank you and keep great content.

I have MS and have dealt with cancer 3xs, the meds I took and things I went through didn't lead me well...I was not living, I was surviving. 6.5yrs ago I chose differently. I went off the 30 meds I was on, found the right vit/supplements for me that have helped emensely...I moved 1500 miles from toxicness...and I've lost 260 pounds so far. This past year, my MS has progressed more and the struggle has been real. I am super diet conscious because I know what leads to flares and issues...but I'm struggling a bit in excersize that works for me. It's frustrating. Yes I still want to lose 75-85 more pounds but I need better muscle strength and it's difficult with balance and tremors. Some days are great, some not so much...but I'm a fighter, I've survived the worst things in life...and I strive to live and thrive and find love and passion again. I'm Not a Quitter!! Any suggestions would be great. You have been great inspiration and sometimes...just the sun that warms my heart in the struggle. Thank you!! May you overlook the negative and see the positive blessings in life...and if you don't feel them yourself, know you are sharing them with so many others!💗 Much love to you

Your words are so motivating and exactly what I needed to hear, at the right time. As a mom of 4, who feels like there just aren't enough hours in a day, i'm choosing myself again. I previously lost 70lbs, 7 years ago, with exercise and a life style change. My health has been pushed on the back burner the past 4 years. Now i'm realzing that inculded my mental health. Healthy diet and exercise do play such a huge role in mental health. So cheers to choosing ourselves, and showing up every day with no excuses. Also cheers to people like you who put information out there to help others, and give that push to get the ball rolling again 💞

I always thought if I don't exercise then I eat less and if I exercise more than I eat more. Walking and bicycling is my choice and I enjoy it, can't sit around and let the day go by without it. What you say is true thank you so much !
@carriewoodforde28522 жыл бұрын
The ugly truth 😊 there is nothing that someone can say that can give you motivation - it has to come from within yourself; guidance from external sources, sure, but motivation to get up is on you. Diet plans are always on someone else's taste or lifestyle; the best thing about Thoren and ōhk is the "here are your macros, see how they fit with healthy eating within your tastes/lifestyle and make sure you move" approach. God knows, I know, heck Thoren knows that I've had weeks where I've literally just been making sure my food is on the point and jugggled being a working Mum to 3 under 5, but didn't exercise/move. And it's those weeks where I've been worse mentally. The weeks where I've decided to workout at midnight just to move or like last night went for a walk for an hour after work, helps beyond just what my scales will say on Saturday morning. Ps cheers for making me teary at work because this video made me realise how far I've come personally in the last 3 months and to own that. Have a great day.

All to true! I lost the first 10 pounds by walking and giving up soda. I am less worried about the number on the scale and more worried about capability. Increase the distance I can walk or the speed I can walk and do strength training to trade fat for muscle and the number on the scale will sort itself out over time. I agree about the consistency. I fell off for about 4 days because of work, (the 18 hour days wrap on tomorrow and are abnormal) but I parked my car the furthest I could from the door so my incidental exercise increased and I didn't go off the rails food wise. I treat these abnormal conditions as though they were injuries, just to my schedule. I try to compensate or find a way to fit exercise back in if the abnormal condition is going to be more than two or three days.
