In the lore there’s this dwarf hold and a Tomb King locked in eternal war with each other since the days of the Nehekaren having flesh. The reason? A dwarf beard lung accidentally mined into a Tomb King vault and there’s a coin lodged permanently in the pickaxe head. The Tomb Kings and the dwarfs have been having war after war to gain possession of their coin/pickaxe and neither side will admit defeat.

@@mivapusa Nothing is perfect, but it still makes everything fun. The most fun in my opinion is Ungrim's mechanic. You go on monster hunts and you either slay the monsters for Acclaim to upgrade your Slayers, or you can tame them and permanently unlock them as RoRs. This ain't so lore-breaking as in the past (back to 4th ED times), Dwarfs could include monsters into their armies along with other factions (even stuff like Hydras, Manticores and more) via magic. Now Dwarfs are only limited to Shard Dragons. Then again, why do they need the other monsters if they have a monster of their own? Not to mention a pretty powerful one to boot.
