Both are good looking compact suv. In term of exterior design, personally like Daihatshu Taft, it give the rugged look. But come to interior design, Suzuki definitely done a better job. The cockpit area was very well design, both versatile and practicality are met. Hope malaysia can bring in both model soon.

When I first arrived, I fell in love with the Hustler. I saw it everywhere and loved the design! Now that I have seen other "box" styled Kei cars, I don't know if I want a Hustler anymore. In terms of design, I feel there is no competition between the Taft and the Hustler; the Taft wins! But what I really want to know is how powerful are the 660cc engines that each contains. Because I have a Daihatsu Tanto and it is SOOOOOOOOO slow! :(

I don't think there would be a significant difference, if your Tanto is equipped with a CVT and a turbo. However, its high clearance and a simple (braking) LSD are the very advantage points of this vehicle for rougher terrain.

The maximum horsepower of a kei car is limited to 64ps due to regulation. It doesn’t matter which kei car you get, it will be SLOW!
