As a indian , i know for sure that this is not kundalini yoga....This is normal Hatta yoga practices. The candel watching is called Tratak in Sanskrit. I wish all forieners would understand that nobody will teach them kundalini yoga unless they have certain years of yoga practice. Yoga in 4 weeks is not even learning Hatta yoga properly. if you want to learn yoga properly there are some legit institutions you should approch ( Iyangar yoga institution in pune, RIshikesh or Dharamkot, The yoga institute in Mumbai , Shri shri ravishankar cource of yoga, Issha yoga center, yoga vidya niketan in Navi mumbai) Kindly dont fall for this generic basic yoga courses just because they are convinient for your timelines of travelling or atleast dont call them big terms like kundalini yoga. For kriya yoga kindly cantact the organization who has publish that book on yogananda. They are really good people. i hope this information will help people who are not born in indian culture. May you find your spiritual Guru in this lifetime. Namaste.

It's not enough to say as Indian, you should capable to know what is Yoga and levels. And how to teach children and even it takes a life to be perfect how to teach in just few days and why it's necessary to follow for atleast 21 days, how to stretch, hath yoga, acceptance of your self, train your brain to follow you and go to next level. So as I first come to know about this type of course because our parents teaches us since childhood we kwon it's approx impossible to learn in few days. And without practice, even you can get benifits of exercise in gym in few days, remember continues practice is most important.even in whatever profession you are, there is the will there is the way.. we also worship God for approx one hour and handling significant good medium size businesses. So keep practicing...

What a uniquely inspiring conclusion to your fabulous journey throughout India!! Thank you for your smoothly delivered and detailed description of ur time with Janine at the school, Liam. In the past, I have made a few attempts at yoga and learned that one's level of comfort and enlightenment was solely dependent on the quality of the teaching and the teacher! In the US in my expwrience, (where, I understand the yoga movement really ignited originally), the teachers clearly favored students who had previous successful experience with yoga, creating a competitive atmosphere in the classroom, while offering newcomers little attention and support, leading to feelings of isolation. This is why my yoga learning experiences have been mostly negative (traumatic). You and Janine, due to your great emotional intelligence, care and thoughtfulness for others will make you THE VERY BEST yoga teachers! You have an enormous heart ❤ and soul, and it would be a privilege to be your student! Again, thank you so much for taking us on this journey: you two are loved so much for it. Kiss India good bye for us with gratitude. ❤

This was so inspiring and informing 💜I had tears in my eyes at the deep situation with Janine, as I deal with similar things myself and experienced the outburst of emotions during a yoga class before. I have just watched this vlog. Liam and Janine what can I say....... Straight from my heart I can tell you that I have never seen a ttc vlog as good as this one. A lot of vlogs capture the routines and not the emotions. I felt the emotions along with you as it really brought back memories from my ttc in India. Also the photography was beyond measure. Yes ttc courses do break you before they make you. I too felt profound changes post yoga course. Oh and...... As for no caffeine and junk food whilst awaking at 4am. Hmmmmm....... In the early days I would sneak out for crisps, Oreo cookies and a good old chai. But that soon stopped as my transformation began and within the period of one month I lost 12lbs. I have to admit we also had ayurveda teachings on my course and that had to be my favourite part along with the hatha yoga. As for you guys doing Kundalini. Well...... that's another level so very well done. Can't wait for you to have adventures back in Morgan again. @@ThoseHappyDays Liam and Janine you r both welcome. The Kundalini ttc was PROFOUND. I don't know how you did it as it's a MAJOR healing type of yoga. In all honesty I can't do it. Give me hatha and ayurveda anyway. Oh and by the way I do love doing 108 sun salutations for sure ☀️🙏 Since being back in the UK I have had major pains and stiffness in my joints so I find yoga harder to do here. But in India I don't suffer with such pains and nor do I struggle with flexibility. Must be the magic of the Indian sun. ♥️ My life in the UK is pure craziness but despite whats going on I do still have that inner happiness. It took a good old ttc to give me that inner happiness despite external circumstance. A course that broke me down Into a major depression and then helped me rise about it all. It has literally saved my life many times. I always think that the cause of mental illness is not taking the time to look inside us. Looking inside ourselves is the real challenge as you so rightly put it Liam and it is where we find happiness and peace. No doubt in this. Everything else is a distraction, however enjoyable. But currently I am in Bali doing a normal mixed style yoga teacher training course (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, etc) and also doing courses in reiki, qigong and drumming, and taking part in kirtans and learning about eastern philosophy. I tried kundalini yoga a couple of times and have yet to make it through a full class without stopping! So I’m thinking that all I am doing here will be prep for the India leg of my spiritual journey!

Congratulations on coming through your past month. Hope you're both OK and returned to some equilibrium, albeit with even greater insight and awareness. I've witnessed first hand how an intense spiritual atmosphere can stir up emotions and affect people, especially when using yoga techniques. What people dont realise is how intensive and strenuous it can be to embrace spiritual practices, and you have to be equipped and strong enough. I liken ashram life to an Olympics training camp which is nothing like 'jogging in the park' its so much more demanding. As Paramahansa Yogananda said, the 'brain is like a lightbulb', you have to increase its resilience and wattage through discipline, practice and techniques in readiness for turning on the (kundalini) power. Too quick and too early can blow the bulb. I've seen quite a few people who have overdone it and been affected mentally, permanently. Great to seeing you're both OK and wish you well going forward, as a major shift in perspective can change how you view everything. Hope you've both recovered, and are feeling stronger and fulfilled. I can fully empathise as I took a similar step many years ago. Peace Out!🙏😊

“It’s a funny old world isn’t it?”-Liam. Was an energy channelling through you Liam? Verbally you did not miss a step in bringing us to your and Janine’s month. I have read a lot about PTSD and what Janine went through and how her mentor led her through the experience aligns very much with my readings. The joy and energy of the two of you-'sheer delight' as Milarepa would say. I deeply appreciate you sharing this transformative month with us. Thank-you, namaste.

Great Saints and Yogis don't recommend Kundalini Yoga to everyone. Nowadays people doing crazy things in the name of Kundalini Yoga. Not everyone is capable of teaching Kundalini Yoga so better to avoid it, The rarest of rare will teach only after long practice and only if you are capable. This is not only for Foreigners this is for Indians too.

I look forward to more adventures in Morgan 🚛 Congrats to you both ❤️ but a special congrats 🎉 to Janine who doesn’t like to do all the academic stuff. We already know you’re extremely clever, your editing is top notch, like you’d see on ITV Primetime. I know it must’ve been difficult when you can doubt yourself, but you’ve proved you’re a warrior 🙏 I’m so glad you’ve got so much from especially this last month, Janine 🩷 Welcome home guys x

A fabulous experience for you both! So glad for Janine that she has found more inner peace through this experience! She looks more serene after the discomfort that was needed - to witness and let go of past trauma that will continue to affect us throughout our lives until it comes up and out. I wonder if it has cured her cough too! Liam, an interesting bodily experience for you too! Thank You both for sharing so much ❤. Surely the main benefits from this month were for your personal evolution. Well done for hanging in there with all those tough deciplines! A deep and precious Indian experience to complete your trip! Congrats on becoming 'teachers'. You did amazing but personally, having experienced yoga and meditation here and in India... I would not ask you to be my teachers although I love you both! As a qualified Life Coach too, I work with people who are exploring and healing past traumas. If you are teaching kundalini, you will need to be equipped with the skills to deal with experiences like Janine and you had, when they happen to your students! Or have other experienced people on hand as back-up support. Safe trip home Happy Days! Namaste ❤

The only danger about 'doing' a kundalini teachers training course in 4 weeks is actually.....thinking that's it's possible to 'do' a kundlani teachers training course in 4 weeks! and then teaching it!...Yoga means 'union with divinity' and the physical aspect of yoga (asana..stretching etc) is a very small part of it....Some say an 1/8th of the whole, which makes sense if you know of pantajali's 8 limbs!...But the people seemed nice and you had a good time, and that's a good thing!
