The Pathfinder is also apparently the same mold as the Remix Torpedo so if you are looking to try one on the cheap(er) that is a good way to do it. The Remix plastic is much nicer than I expected as well, especially for the price. I really like it on forehand.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf Mostly I was posting that for anyone who saw the video and wanted to try one but I would love to see a comparison video or hear your thoughts. I actually found that info out from a couple videos a few months back by Bodanza Disc Golf "MVP Responded..." is the video with a summary and most of the info in it about what molds are. Apparently the Pathfinder, Mint Mustang, and Remix Torpedo are all the same and can actually come from the same production run of discs, just be stamped with different names. The same disc is also sold by a few other companies with other stamps apparently, the whole list is visible in the Bodanza video.

Pathfinders are so smooth and I agree that the hand feel is top tier. Once I finally threw one and saw how much they glide, it was an instant addition to may bag. I used to carry a Reactor and a Hex but now find a glow Pathfinder can basically fit the role of both of them by itself. I have an Ethos PF on the way, so even my Echo's may be in jeopardy depending on if it's about as mellow but can push farther.

I need to try a Reactor, keep hearing great things about them! The Ethos PF is the best feeling plastic. Even in the rain I get insane grip like it is base plastic. Also very workable compared to the Glows. It will push forward more and have a little more natural turn.

BEST MIDRANGE EVER I'm getting amazing results with my Ethos Pathfinder. Got an ace with it a week after it arrived. This is like a great Shark replacement but getting easier distance, or Buzzz replacement (I disagree on BuzzzSS though, as that's closer to a Mana).

Definitely so good! Favorite mid at the moment for sure! With the Buzzz SS I should have mentioned it’s like a new ESP run. Those tend to fly straighter than older runs and Z which do have a lot more turn. My bad!

my Buzzz-Z and Buzzz bigZ dont get nearly the same distance as the Pathfinder. Buzzz is like throwing a putter in comparison. However, I thought the Mana would be a good compliment to it, but it goes much farther, and I'm finding it hard to figure out when thrown after a Pathfinder. I tend to always overshoot the target with the Mana (maybe just because I use it less). Have you tried the Mana @@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf ? it's true to numbers as well but more glide. I have the glow.

I keep giving the Hex a try and keep wanting to find reasons to like it since it is so popular…. But I just can’t. Feels great in the hand, but the flight is an enigma to me 😅

They tend to be more stable. They are the exact mold and will fly more like a glow hex.

Personally I never clicked with the Hex. I have a neutron that doesn’t know what it wants to be. Some shots it’s like the Aura Pathfinder and others it’s like a Buzzz OS. The Hex is definitely a much shallower feel, which I normally love shallow discs, but just can’t get clean releases with the Hex. The only one that flew good for me is the Fission Hex since it stands a little taller with the slight dome it had. The Fission was flying like the Glow Pathfinder for me. Torque resistant with good fade.

Pathfinders are not semi-overstable. I throw mine in my understable/turnover mid slot. They fly like Echo’s, relatively flippy.

What plastic is yours in? And what's your max distance? I have the Ethos, and it's exactly true to numbers.

I have an Ethos and a EO Ethos. They both a straight to understable. I throw mids 300-340. Great disc, just like the Echo more as it goes a touch further.

Discs do different things for different people. You’re throwing your mids about 20-50 feet further than he is in this video, so him claiming they’re semi stable makes sense for him (and probably most of the people watching this video).

@@toddkauk6099 _I throw mids 300-340"_ ok well that's not the disc's fault then, it's your own fault: that's venturing into fairway-driver territory. nobody will give you a speeding ticket for throwing a mid farther than it's numbers, but you need to readjust the numbers in your head for that distance. it will be the case for any midrange at that distance.
