Love to see a day in the life of Farmer Sarah! See how she does what she does all day long! That would be so cool!

Lovely to see you both again chatting about things in general . I did miss seeing the cows in the background, but you had the pigs there. For your new kitchen Rufus, why not consider an Air Fryer? Just like an oven but cooks food in half the time. We've had one for years and it's in use most days. Microwaves are only used for defrosting in an emergency or cooking certain types of fish.

Good video folks great to see and hear from you both again I'm downsizing our small farm a bit too mainly because of the price of inputs such as fertilizer and meal and the fact I suffer from arthritis but I'm really looking forward to it 🙂

I really enjoyed the visit! Great shot of the rooster and hens at the beginning. I liked the touch of green growing from the straw bale, nice bit of color. I agree with you Ru, I would view the downsizing as progression. You mum said it best, "less is more". Farmers have to look at the bottom line. She will likely make more $ on fewer animals due to fewer inputs. She should look to keep the Devons, much smaller cow and requires less food to maintain. Good luck to her and you and I look forward to your next installment.

I started lambing 1 week ago we’ve had horrible weather rain, 30mph winds awful deep mud. My little hobby farm is my sanctuary but I’m always so nervous during this time. I think this will be my last lambing I’ll keep my girls for pasture maintenance. I think if I keep them I’ll not try something else, which my husband is always concerned about. Love your barn!! Thanks for letting me join ya

13th March 21.35 Nothing wrong with a microwave young fella! And, I also heat milk for shredded wheat!! I understand why mum is not happy about downsizing - it is her empire and she loves it all. I look fwd to seeing you flog your 4 lambs - the old boiler suit may be a good idea ( with a bit of mud on your face?) Good to hear you may have a kitchen soon - don’t forget the slow cooker (& M/wave 😜) All the best. Paul WW Village

Hi, I have a question. You've brought Herdwicks down to a lowland farm down south, I'm assuming the Herdwicks you bought weren't docked. Has raising undocked long tail hill ewes on lowland pasture ever presented you with flystrike or other complications that took more than routine dagging/crutching to manage? The more I eat good locally raised lamb, and the more time I spend on and around farms, the more I'm drawn to the idea of my own smallholding, and I'd love to go with Herdwick ewes, but the area I live in is lowland (albeit in the north of Scotland). I just wanted to check that the only reason I'd be advised against Herdwicks in this context is "because mule ewes would be more prolific and economically viable" etc, and not because there would be serious health concerns implied in doing so. Any advice and wisdom appreciated!

Perhaps set up that camera and allow the few folk willing to pay a monthly 'tip' viewing rights? Any extra revenue stream (pun somewhat intended) is a benefit... I for one would watch 'Piglet Cam' endlessly ...
