Thoughts on Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Still playing through this so I unfortunately can't watch due to spoilers. But DAMN man, I wish I could stream this game. This game is just so magical, it reminds me why I love the Mario franchise and makes me feel like a kid again. The level design feels a little cramped at times but this is probably because I'm so used to NSMB and its large, open areas. That's my only nitpick I got. I love how non-linear progression is, the animations are so charming, every idea feels so fresh and it's just so creative. I'll have to do some videos on this game when I come back.

Great review! It really is a beautiful game and I'm gonna have to pick it up someday. Also I love that you say it's not very skill-demanding. I'm not great at platformers so I'd probably enjoy this a lot.

Glad you decided to touch on this! I'm in the process of trying to make a vid and needed some insight on Mario wonder. Haven't played it yet so this will be super helpful because I very much value and tend to agree with your opinions. Fingers crossed I can finish it before the end of 2023 😂
