Dude nice responsible mindset! I got tuned by Boosted Performance Tuning, Graham, after seeing HOURS of interview content from him on Awais' channel and really understanding the guy. Very happy with his tune, I'm making about 330 hp and 360 torque, allegedly. Care is WOKE UP man it throws me and my friends back with a smile on our face.

That is awesome! Awais makes fantastic tuner talks that help get more insight on the tuning side. Just curious - what mods are you running and fuel? Maybe I’m thinking IF i were to tune, those power and tq numbers sound pretty tempting.

I can vouch Graham is a amazing tuner. I am e-tuned through him and have no regrets. The only crappy thing about the VB’s is the transmission. Only if Subaru paired the FA24 with the Sti transmission, we would really have a beast.

I think the 2024 drives superbly as is, and as an enthusiast that has tuned and modded many a car in previous years the results are typically underwhelming in the way that you are always craving for a bit more. I say wait until warranty is in at least the last year before going this way, even more so if it is your only means of transport.

@ianholmquist84922 ай бұрын
Any mods to the intake/ charge pipe, headers, intercooler, definitely require a tune on modern turbocharged vehicles, especially subarus. Be careful. Making changes to any metered airflow causes your engine to run richer or leaner (depending on which mods) because your MAF still thinks it has factory parameters. Catback exhaust is as far down the airflow mod rabbithole as i would go without a tune.

At first I didn’t want to get the AP because I paid for extended warranty. But with the little parts I added, charge pipe, intake pipe, intermediate pipe, and sti exhaust I figured I add the AP to monitor it better. I’m using the OTS map 91 oct since I’m in SoCal. I do not launch my car and it is my daily driver for my family and business. Every time I bring my car to the dealership to get my free oil changes, I disconnect the AP and unplug the connector. No notes saying they notice any modifications. Keep true and don’t get it. You’ll be the only one we can rely on warranty work on a stock vb.
