I've interacted with quite a few Lycosa tarantulas myself and they've always been so sweet and curious. I'd let them walk over my hands, two times they ended up on my back and then walked over to my hands again. Not once was I bitten and they're definitely not dangerous.

I once worried I might be pregnant and started experiencing morning sickness symptoms, even though that doesn't even happen till months into pregnancy. Later it was confirmed I was NOT pregnant, and right after that symptoms ceased.

I'd be very curious to know... Where the magnetic poles were between circa 500 and 1600 AD. As of 1900 they were in Canada and the and Antarctica, but they aren't anymore. They're moving faster now, accelerated towards roughly the Asia Pacific region for the moment, leaving weak areas in the magnetosphere over south America.

Germans have a saying: "Wie von der Tarantel gestochen" . When someone shows a surprising and extremely violent reaction, like obsessively/insanely and surprisingly reacting, wildly flailing their arms and running around.

Thank you Thoughty for making us laugh about random dancing and that song stuck in your ear again :D

How did it take weeks for them to start dying if they weren’t drinking water? I heard that you can only survive 3 days without water, and that’s not taking into account that they were intensely dancing, so they would’ve needed more water
@freewifiinthebackofthevan2 жыл бұрын
you don’t necessarily die after 3 days. You become very dehydrated. Some people fast for weeks on end, although it’s not recommended it is possible to stay alive for weeks without food or water.
