TFK is my favorite Christian rock band and getting to hear these guys in concert was a dream come true! I remember this was one of their songs on their setlist and it was sooo good!

Do a deep dive in them if you haven’t. All of their albums are loaded with bangers. If you like the slower songs check out FM Static, a side band created by the lead singer and drummer. (Trevor and Steve)

I love it when you play these older songs that remind me of when I was a teenager. I was just rocking out alone in my bedroom.

One of the coolest concerts. The lead singer sounds exactly like the recordings. He had so much control with his vocals.

TFK are so loud in concert!!! I love it but because I'm getting older I have to wear noise reducing ear protection when I have seen them. I have seen them in concert 4 times!

I got into Christian Rock back when Petra was one of the big names - when Beyond Belief came out. That was '80's rock. Anyway, exercise: I do one sit-up a day. I sit up in the morning, that's half. I lay down at night, that's the other half. :D

At the beginning, TFK was a rapcore band. When they went on a hiatus, Trevor McNevan (singer) started a project more hip-hop than rock: I Am The Storm. Just check out these 2 songs: These Lines and Fire In The Booth. Also greetings from France ;) I had the chance to see them live during the Rock Without Limits festival in Germany in 2011 with Pillar the same day and with other great bands like Blindside, Becoming the Archetype, Theocracy, ....

Be Somebody is my fave if I were to compare. I sang it for a talent show when I was in grade 9 so I’m a little bias. But TFK was my fave band growing up I went to a couple of their concerts and for my 16th B-day I got the chance to be a VIP at a concert. I even got to give them some art I got my friend to create! (I’ll post it in the discord)

You should review one of their live performance songs. There are bands that are live and they don’t sound the same as on the album and then there’s TFK and they sound almost identical to their album recording. They were amazing. Side note: got to hang with these guys back in 03 when they were touring with their Phenomenon album. They are an amazing group of guys! One of the best experiences of my life.! You should look into Pillar (no longer together or nothing new); 12 Stones: still together and puts out albums every couple years. Note: lead singer was the back up in one of Evanescence top rated songs. RED: no need to say anymore Project 86: heavy metal Christian band.

I was in an air bands competition in elementary and I suggested Move but no one wanted to do it and we ended up doing a slow Beatles song... I went to a CHRISTIAN school yet hardly anyone I knew anything about Christian music and they all had a prejudice towards it... It still pisses me off to this day every time I think about it... Would have been a GREAT song to use.

I was just about to suggest "Be Somebody" Heh. Small world. I wasn't too sold on the song until it hit me halfway of during a 9 mile leg of PA Ragnar (12 people combine to run 200 miles). Hit at the perfect time. Of the 20 or so songs I heard over my Sansa Clip that run, I only remember two: that one and "Maps" by Falling Up ( Further out maybe you could meet me where I am... Further out I know theres hope within Your hands ) Anyway, "Move" is an interesting choice. I think "Already Home" would or "Look Away" be a better choice to pit against "Be Somebody" Against "Move" I'd put "Ordinary". Possibly "Puppet" (Live version-- which would "win" handily). The ultimate TFK showdown would be "Rawkfist" vs... well, what could possibly go up against that?
@kendra_t2 жыл бұрын
I can't believe I've been a fan for over ten years and never listened to the live version of Puppet until recently. It was mind-blowing.

On socials, yes at times, but they haven't toured in like 2 or 3 years. Their last album came out in 2017. Trevor (the lead singer) did his own rap project in 2018 and is supposed to do another one from what I understand, but I have no news on that. I know he has his own like studio or something to work on things, but how much is working on other bands and artist to help them make the music they want?
@whitevine95443 жыл бұрын
I recommend so many songs from Thousand Foot Krutch. They are a favorite band, but I haven't listened as much lately. Right now I'm listening mostly to Amorphous from Icon For Hire. That's a band that has rock, pop and, rap in their music. If you want a rock track from them to review I recommend their songs Curse or Cure, Make a Move, Get Well, or Last One Standing. Basically I recommend checking them out period since they make really good music.
