Super cool line! At 28:40 I think this gives a turn 1 win with protection. Land drop, petal, enomb narcomeaba, Culling the weak, spy with pact up as protection.

@@Totescolin I'm fine with all in combos like black or red storm, or charbelcher oops all spells. If there was one thasa's oracle combo deck that would be one thing, but there are at least 3. There are also replacement effects for oracle like lab man that are more interesting to me personally because they are less safe.

Not an oops expert... don't we need to keep therapy in the deck to get thoracle in the yard if its in hand? Probably not super likely since the deck mulls a lot, but without therapy of oracle is in hand we just lose right?

While you don’t have green anymore to cast Memory’s Journey, you could play a Jack O’ Lantern to filter into green for that. You don’t seem to have much space for it maindeck, but I could see wanting it in the sideboard for relevant matchups?

Discard spells in general haven't really had an increase in power since thoughtseize. The only comparable card since wrench mind is Whispers of Emrakul, which needs delirium.

@@wakawaka6490 How about this, a Hymn crossed with a Guerilla Tactics. So its a 3 mana spell, BUT if your opponent targets you with a discard spell/ability, you can cast it for free.

Okay so im really pumped to get back to playing OOPs! Its one of my favorite archetypes in legacy because the quick play allows me to actually get games in. I suppose i should head over to the discord for the answer but ive always preferred (perhaps stylistically) the consistency that Beseech the Mirror gives this deck. If we are adding more cool =/< 4 mana toys it still works as intended. I think i may fiddle around with this list and see if i can work beseech back in. I really didnt start getting good records on leagues until i heard on a video one of the TES dudes had "mulligan agressively until you have a wincon in hand" and the extra wincon in hand you get from Beseech is really nothing to sneeze at. Something to do while the dust settles around this MH3 release.

From a competitive perspective, what is the advantage of current oops all spells vs necrodominance combo? Oops can beat you to death with small creatures, but aside from that it seems like necro wins more consistently.

Oops have a smaller failture rate, but have the same weakness as necro + grave hate weakness. the advantage is consistence, you can do your attempt on turn 1 like 90% of the time on oops. I think when the necrodom build get totally optimized it is going to have almost the same consistency as Oops. When that happens, Oops will be tossed to tier 2

Phil, sorry if you've already talked about this ad nauseum (lol), but how do you feel about Thasa's Oracle? Oracle is a card I don't think should be banned, a card I use in CEDH, but also a card I sometimes wish they never printed. Can anything ever make it less attractive to play?
