That feeling you’re talking about when you get that OG copy in your hands & put it on the turntable is exactly why I love & collect the physical format! Pretty much every album I own does that for me in some way or another… plus I get that feeling from Vinyl, CDs & Cassettes… & I think that’s because I’ve bought all 3 formats from the very start! ‘Forbidden Evil’ OG vinyl for £30… you’ve just made me cry Michael, lol! Good to see yer mate!🤘🏻

Nice slab o’ Thrash 🤘”I just got this off a guy” sounds shady as fook but it’s how I get most of my finds also😝 some nice bargains you scored and I feel the same as you when you check the discogs prices when you add it to your collection after you score a bargain and you realise that you got it for less than half it currently goes for. Darcy is a legend for gifting you the Slayer records, totally agree that they sound awesome. Whiplash Power is killer and was the last full length album I needed to finish my thrash collage last year. I found an OG of Ticket a few years ago and I think it’s good. Nice update, great records, cheers for the video. Congrats on the MOP and Possessed bargains! Some other early Metallica pressings worth considering are the 2LP 45rpm of the first three Metallica albums, though people don't rate the Kill em all one at 45rpm, I think it sounds good, RTL and MOP at 45rpm on the other hand get great reviews. I hope the 2nd Whiplash grows on you, the third is great too, hope a copy turns up for you soon!

Some killer picks ups here mate. State of Euphoria is a bit underrated I think, the 2 before it are definitely better though. Slayer's Divine Intervention also massively underrated and certainly one of my favourite's of theirs. At least you didn't buy Kin. That's definitely a step down in the Xentrix discography. Great stuff Mike
@metalmickey10 ай бұрын
I seen Kin on sale for really cheap around a tenner but no I know that wasn't for me. I've almost got the bit hitters now but the ones I need are quite expensive these days.

I seem to have all the bad cousins to the albums you like😄I have the Whiplash " Ticket " album. If " Power" is way better i'm getting it!, as I thought " Ticket " was great. I'm with you on the idea that If i'm buying an album I used to love, its got to be exactly the same as how I remember it. With the cover, stickers, inlay e.t.c in good condition. Anything less will not do. Glad you are enjoying your latest purchases Mike.

I didn´t know you have one of those "CD loading" Denon tapedecks. I have two of those, the 810 and the smaller 640. They´re great! I know why you like "Walk..." and "Burning..." of off the second Whiplash most. They´re both old demo tracks written before the debut came out. I can totally get what you mean with the memories attached to old OG vinyl LPs, same here! Oh, when you come over, maybe you can touch my OG "Power and Pain" record, hahaha... maybe... hehe...

Oh yes I have I think it's a 610 from memory. It's mint condition too. Cost me a few quid I can tell you lol. Those Whiplash songs are certainly the best ones on that one. Would have fit nicely on that first album. Hey you done a good job on that review I just watched it before.

I do agree with your thoughts about what album you should/want to get on vinyl - cds - mp3 and since prices are an important thing this days getting a reissues are ok with me.I have an early pressing or OG (don't know) of "Kill'em all" same thing for "Ride....." but have a brazilian pressing of "Master....." and no "Justice...." so a reissues will have to be. cheers

How the hell did you get Cloudy to part with a copy of Spreading? You must have some incriminating photographs or something? 😮 £30 for Forbidden Evil is a bloody steal...and Master! 😂 It's strange how our music relates to certain memories from years ago. I do agree that listening to an OG press and holding the original artwork, sleeve, liner notes, is a great way of reminiscing. For Whose Advantage was my introduction to Xentrix so I do like it but whenever I get the urge to play them then it's always Shattered. Really enjoy seeing these thrash updates, Mike 🤘
