Cannibal Corpse, Deicide or Obituary? I think this band represents Death Metal the best because they still remain all about death, without moving to more generic Extreme Metal topics of war, religion and Satanism. BTW, I can't find the logos of Holy Moses, Voivod and Havok.

What would your choice be? It's always difficult when a band has 12 albums. I listened to every track off all those albums when putting this together and narrowed it down from 35 Riffs to ten - The other 25 Riffs are also great riffs. And I think these Top 10 are KILLER Riffs. But all opinions very welcome, dude!

My favorite from them is Skull Full of Maggots for that riff and absolute Thrash/death sound on this song. That first album is my absolute favorite. Maybe I'm just sentimental as i do remember when that was their only album. That album is just exceptional. Different from all the others. I love Corpsegrinder as well though. Too many favorites with him. Gore Obsessed is actually one of my favorite albums from them. I notice Gore Obsessed and Eaten back to life get placed last quite often but those two....i'd actually like to purchase on vinyl, Cheers 🍻🍻🍻
