The tagged images on instagram give you an idea of who is wearing them. You're Black and American so understand the support you have for the brand. But like I said, it's a regional trinket at best that does ok amongst certain demographics. Small town? Your final comments are very reminiscent of what Maison Margiela did from 2009 - 2014 after Martin Margiela stepped down as creative director. They let their existing design team run most things for the years until John Galliano onboarded as creative director in 2014. In terms of the wildcard candidates you were listing at the end, I also think it might be interesting to see Justin Saunders considered for LV Creative Director. Perhaps his current aesthetic and brand, JJJJound, are too minimal for LV's overall brand personality - but he does a great job at creating tasteful menswear, in my opinion. He was also a part of Been Trill.
@understitchYT2 жыл бұрын
I think that worked because MM created that sense of community within the company, even the shop assistants wear the lab coat. But Vuitton has a more traditional approach in championing their head designers/creative directors, so I think their business would seem publicly at a loss without a head
