I wouldn't exactly agree that no one chased anyone off. You don't really know what was going on off the nest. Behavior didn't appear as everyone was perfectly happy with three there.

You may be right, though I didn't hear any loud calls immediately after the first two left. I do have to be careful to not humanize my interpretations of what I'm observing - it did look to me as if the two on the nest were more on alert before the third one landed - but that could be more because they knew where that one was than that they were glad he/she was there - easier to keep an eye on. ~JudyB
