I loved how you brought our awareness to the energy core of the earth as we do Mountain Pose. As always, Susannah, I love your videos.

After reading your message about the power of mountain pose, I had to find your video and do the practice. Tadasana is truly a complex balance pose when you are conscious of equal weight front to back and side to side. It opens a channel to a new perspective. Thank you 🙏🏽

Thanks Susannah. I am enjoying your videos and the FB group a lot. Your style and production of videos are fabulous. With the twist: is it safe to do it gently with one leg bent over an outstretched leg rather than cross legged?
@ForeverYogawithSusannah Жыл бұрын
Why thank you so much Susie🙏 The key word is gently! You must be the judge any the position feels safe for your body. But yes, I do the variation you describe all the time. Just be mindful and don't forget to breath.

Please help.. I thought we could not flex the spine in table top? I want to just thought it was a no no?
@ForeverYogawithSusannah Жыл бұрын
The recommendation is to avoid holding the spine in a rounded position. In this video I offer a very healthy movement exercise for the pelvis and lower back. The risk for vertebral fracture is extremely low for most of us with a diagnosis for osteoporosis. However anyone is at high risk (previous fractures?) might choose to skip this. What I would not do from table top, as you mention, would be a "cat" pose, rounding the entire spine in a loaded way, and holding for an extended time. But I do move through cat-cow in a flowing way and in my opinion this is safe.
