Three Bots Eliminated on Hardcore - Kill Bots and Earn Gold!

Hello all. I am Minatora (yeah I just created this account :)) It really doesn't matter that my name can be seen in the video. To be honest a lot of the main bots know this character anyway and will log out even if I go in their zone. I don't even need to be near them. They constantly monitor this characters location. I have been killing bots for the longest time on this server. I have probably killed in the thousands now. But I only go after the high levels pretty much nowadays. I am unfortunately the reason why all of the Chinese bots fled to Scarlet Monastery where I cannot kill them. However they are only 2 maybe 3 people only. The main botter even tried to bribe me to stop killing him in game by sending me 3 stacks of runecloth, some blues and a bag in the mail. I didn't stop. This is not their best gold farm but they have to go there anyway. Now I put them all in there, all Blizzard has to do is ban them easily - but they haven't for months... Blizzard only bans based on reports so everybody needs to take a screenshot of the SM bots and email [e-mail] . Same with the fishing bots that have now fled to "unknown" and Azshara since Madskillzzhc killed them before in Tanaris. Anyway, my name doesn't matter because this is just one of 5 hunters I have above lvl 50 on Stitches. I have a 60 and 57 on horde, a 59, 54, 52 on alliance. The purpose was because once they knew my name, I had to try to kill them on another char because they would just stop gameplay or idle in an inn if I went in their zone. You can name change on Classic, but need 2 accounts on the same BNet and use a bit of trickery. This does not work however because your friends list is tied to an ID and not your name so they could still detect me. I used to go by the name Alubjuia before my name change if you know me (crap name I know). I will not be going after the other bounties, unless people struggle with them. I have my own targets ;) I only wanted Peacefuy really, since he evaded me before and I wasn't able to kill him and I had to go. I knew he would be difficult. I used to kill by kiting or facetanking mobs too but using your pet is perfectly safe if eyes of the beast cancels when the mobs are far away, and everyone can do it. I feel it's the only way when you need to kite 10+ lower level mobs to a high level bot. You have no idea how happy I am that Madskillzz is now getting the community involved. It's great to see. They'll have to think about that one pretty hard, banning people for taking the bot problem into their own hands is horrible PR for blizzard. It would basically say publically with no uncertain terms that they value the botter's gameplay experience over regular customers. But at the same time I agree, it somehow dosen't seem impossible that blizzard would take action against 'griefers in hardcore' without disclosing the context...

But thats not saying its not being done, nor that blizzard do anything about it. But a grp of players cannot interfere with another players gaming expereince, and even talking about it is against EULA

Great movement! I recently started playing HC and I gotta say I was amazed when I found this channel. The starting areas are filled with what seems to be bots. I was surprised looking at low level people having insanely linear movements. This combined with the fact that they do not interact with anyone in any way, shape or form and instead just go about doing their own thing on repeat made me question if they are players or not. After seeing a few of those videos it clicked, they aren't players, they are bots leveling up.

man, this takes me back to when we used to train a bunch of mobs and pull them onto bots in Lineage 2, back in like 2003-2004! :D in that game there was a chance that you dropped items (including equipped items) on the ground when you died, that other players could pick up :P good shit :D

The eye of the beast was an idea I had! I'm not the only one though. Since they have folks on a watch list they don't have pets on that list so its nice to see that it was actually used in action. Make sure to keep the pets names free of an actual name too! They can't put pet's named Owl or Boar on a watchlist because most of the time they have to "kill" thos mobs. So a named pet might not help at all because idk how far their so-called watchlist goes.

For fresh hc, make sure to hide your name in videos; in-game make sure to put special characters to make it hard to add to watch list, also change pet name frequently. Let the community help out on setting the bounties: everyone can chip in whatever amount of gold they feel like; a prize pot for an evasive bot will be very tempting. Very soon you`ll have a lot of players going for the bounties AND you`'ll see how resourceful players can be when taking on a challenge: you may see ways to kill bots that never ever would cross your mind.

I'm pretty sure when you have the cast bar for Eyes of the Beast open on the second clip, the text there is the Hunter's name not the pet's, as the pet's HP bar just says "Owl". Might want to censor that out.

It would then defy the purpose of farming. Bots have the pet healing as highest priority and that`s how they get killed by oom. In this set-up in Tanaris, FD would not matter because of the totems; you`d still be in combat.

So me as mage could only theoretically do this with mobs that has some sort of fire breath kinda spell or totems or when a hunter has an owl or a bat as pet correct? Im pretty sure how leashing work but I also recently have seen a paladin pulling mobs on a bot and the mobs just started randomly attacking the bot, I have no clue how that would even be possible without the bot doing anything. Ofcourse when he heals or uses a pot he gets healing aggro but without doing anything? Love the wanting poster idea tho, sad that blizzard let it come to this.
