I'm right there with you. i'm dealing with Papillary dermis fibrosis. It itches like heck. Had my stitches taken out where they did my bisopy today, but they didn't have the Dr that stitch me up and say how to treat it, geesh!! I'm praying for you!!

My dermatologist tried the clobetasol, minoxidil and doxycycline for me and unfortunately they have not worked.

Typically if you use minoxidil it’s highly effective only paired with a derminator which pokes micro holes in your scalp if you try this it should be much more effective

@@finnsaunders2344 my dermatologist did the dermajec in my scalp and prescribed me the 2 medication listed in the video. I hope this works for me because I do want to lose my hair at the at of 32

The first two are by prescription. You can get Minoxidil over the counter at a lower strength otherwise you need a prescription from your doctor.

I leave it for whole night but I only use this solution not other two and my hair loss and dandruff has already stopped.

I put this on my daughters scalp-leave it for 24 hrs, apply it again (cause the plaques on her scalp are so thick and course) leave it for another 24 hrs then wash with ketoconazole shampoo. It leave her plaque and flake free for at least 3 months. And I stopped using coconut oil on her scalp, it was making it worse! But since the last time I had Covid (2 yrs ago), my hair has completely fallen out. So I’m going to try this and see how it works. 🙏🏽 I pray it does.

On 10/08/24 I was recommended to be prescribed topical cloberasol 0.05% 2x a day for psoriasis on the front temporal points of my scalp hairline & ketoconazole shampoo 1x or 2x a week. Im scared to take this twice a day cause of the rare statistic 1 in 300 people that experience hair loss! Also the fact that I’m almost done with my plant-based fast too. I was wondering should I just wait till I’m done with my fast (Jan. next year) to start this clobetasol-ketoconazole regimen I was prescribed or is clobetasol truly safe to take & wont have to worry about hair loss side effects? & if I’d be taking it twice a day how long would the clobetasol last??

Typically for Chlobetasol is prescribed bi-daily (twice a day), every day, for two weeks. If you follow that protocol, typically they tell you not to exceed two weeks because your body can react poorly to it. However in my experience there's no indicator on if you use it on different parts of the body.

I had the same issue and though because of covid . I found out on my case after blood work that I had iron deficiency . After taking a strong iron supplement and iron rich milkshakes, new hair started coming out. Not sure if covid absorbs to much iron on your body but it all happened after covid. But iron deficiency has something to do with hair loss .

@@kelseyirenemarkey It stopped till my doctor put me an intravenous body fluids with multi vitamin A B,C, D, E, and K including complete B-Complex . He put me 2 kind of strong vitamins as my body was not absorbing over the counter vitamins .I was also low on iron . He put the the iron on a different day as Iron could not be mixed with the multi vitamins.

It was discovered in blood work that I had very low iron reserve levels. I am on 250 mg of prescription iron. I was also give Spironolactone 25 mg and Men's Rogaine to use. However, I am hesitant to take them as my hair loss is very diffuse and not localized and... it seems that my hair loss is TE due to Covid in July. The Spiro and Rogaine are good options for that ?

I fell and hit my head on the ground at 9G now I have a big scar on my head that they had to put staples in and now there is a decent sized scar 😔 what should I take to get atleast some hair back

@@Nram10 Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I know that it's easier said than done, but try and be hopeful. With the right dermatologist and treatment, things will get better. Again, do not apply anything to your scalp without professional advice from a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss. Try and obtain references, and do your own research to find a good, empathetic and dedicated dermatologist. I wish you all the best.

@@MASTER3371 Sorry for the delay. I just saw this message. Honestly, I'm not sure.The best thing to do is consult with a dermatologist. Hopefully, if minoxidil doesn't work, then maybe some other type of therapy will be helpful.

This is by no means perfect, but I can assert that it does work to an extent. By using just clobetasol alone I was able to get some small hairs to grow in certain regions of my scalp. Not the areas I was looking for/expecting, but it was a start.
