Great vocal. All 3 guys could really sing 🎶🎵

One of the most underrated bands ever. Unbelievable talent. They were my favorite band as a pre/young teen in the early 70’s. Their first album “One” was loaded with soulful gems like this. This is the late, great Cory Wells at his best, but don’t miss his version of “A Change is Gonna Come”. He made that his own as well. Stay down this rabbit hole. You’ll thank me later!

Song dates back to the 1930s. Cory Wells' vocal follows Otis Redding's version closely.

Cory Wells had one of the great voices ever & so much soul. I was in Vietnam 69/70 and listened to the great Three Dog Nights album all the time but "Try A Little Tenderness" with Cory was KILLER. These guys helped a lot of us to stay focused so we got back to the world.

Every song is totally different for one another. Shows there talent! Even The greats, Elvis, MJ, Celine, Whitney, The Beatles! When a new song was released, you knew who it was!

I saw them in 1970 when I was just 18 years old and I thought they were the coolest looking guys in the world.💯The lead singer was wearing high waisted big bell bottom blue jeans with flowers and vines embroidered on them!😮 Beyond cool!😂 Love watching y'all react to rock 'n roll classics.....great memories. Thank you😁❤️✌️

Love the sound of the Leslie Amp or as we used to say the Shoup Shoup Amp, cause the Amp had 3 horns that rotated.

This is one of their few hits that featured only one of their 3 GREAT singers. The band really shines in this one, especially Joe Schermie on bass. And I'll say this for all of them, they put their heart into their lip-synced TV appearances. Some bands wouldn't even pretend to be matching the music. TDN was the first band I saw in concert, a 13th birthday gift from my sister. No lip-syncing there!

This rendition of Try a Little Tenderness is tame. You need to check out them doing it with the Tennessee symphony orchestra! Amazing! Cory was unbelievable 😢

You should listen to this version "Live at the LA Forum". I used to own this cassette tape (does anybody remember those)? LOL My first rock concert was Three Dog Night in January, 1970 in Wichita, KS.

These guys had 3 fantastic singers, anyone of which could have been the front-man for a group. The band is equally good and never gets enough credit. Check out 'Eli's Coming', 'Easy To Be Hard', 'Joy To The World', 'Mama Told Me Not To Come', 'One', ..and the list goes on. Thanks for doing this one.
