I don't loop often. But for rhythm loops I begin to play them to get in the groove, then start the recording and do it 2x before stopping and continue playing. I take longer loops so potential glitches are more apart before repeating. Great tips as always!

Just getting into this book, great to know it will keep getting more material into it. Looping is getting me through the shake up in the music scene in these parts over the last year and a half.

What a well timed video, I just ordered a ditto x2 because of one of your looping videos, a lot of the things I've been worried about was covered in this video. I'm excited to get it in and start implementing it into my practice routine.

I’m headed to get the book! I wasn’t aware it existed but it looks like just what I need. I have a Ditto X2 and need to really need some ideas on how to get the most out of my looping techniques.

Love the ambient stuff, Janek! How do you find the Chase Bliss pedals? I'm considering the Dark World pedal but unsure if it's worth the price tag. Cheers!

Maybe top 5 pedal I've ever owned? And I haven't even scratched the surface with the dip switches, expression input, or midi yet... Don't pay stupid gouging prices for it if you can avoid it. $349 or less if it's used is a solid price.

@@janekgwizdala sweet! I’ll keep an eye out. I’ve also got my eyes on the Strymon Night Sky. Have you got this one or interested in trying it?

I've been such an idiot! I always try to start the first loop, fade in, and then fade out before stopping the loop. Recording silence in the first loop makes that so much easier!

Would love to hear this without all the clipping in the recording @ 'ambient section'

I think he needs to oil that expression pedal also. Otherwise cool video. Lots of useful info.

Whether it's clipping or not, I'd like to guess that it's the Frantabit and Dark World mod section making the crushed/broken tape sound.

@@johnswendseid4278 think I'm hearing those sweet sounds too, love the playing and the rig, but think I'm heard like gain stage clipping Maybe audio got re uploaded since I watched

I think you've lost the north. Go back to your great music theory and harmony videos that you made before.

Not what I was expecting to hear when I saw this was going to be about looping.
