If you like that sunfish you might like the RRR Hippo Toe/Pattern 015… That looks pretty good for a 11 dollar knife. Looking forward to the Marbles history video…

Yeah that Buck pattern on sheaths hmm i can't see why haha. I have the White Smooth Bone Sunfish too, i take it out in the weekend have me and my family grill an ox on the main blade, after using the penblade to butcher the beast. Save to say; it's big! Love it anyway. The second teaser on the antique Marbles knife, you better get a video out soon or else! Thank you for the video Tom.

I have that Rams Horn. It must be hard to work with Rams horn because it took me sending mine back twice to get a fair one. I need to pick up the Other two. They are cool two. My favorite marbles knife so far is the green jigged bone copperhead. Thanks Tom. Great video.

Tom Thanks for the shoutout That toothpick looks sweet in that JO Sheath with the BUCK as specified As for the Elephant Toe I bought the same model for my oldest son for Christmas two years ago He likes Chinese Knives so I usually break down and buy him five or six for Christmas and his birthday He really likes the Elephant Toes and Granddaddy Barlows and 5” Toothpicks Me I love the fixed blade just wish they made them in Michigan like that one you just showed Love your videos Tom

You will have to actively remove that reverse frosting. It holds up really well. I've sanded down the horn as well. I really like that B&T. Really nice looking Marbles/Gladstone!

The name "Vest Pocket Hatchet" makes sense for the Sunfish/Elephant Toe pattern to me. Easy to see how a finish carpenter could use one to split shims from a cedar shingle, when hanging a door or installing a window in a 19th or early 20th century home. He might well have worn a vest, as well.

There was a time when men wore "braces" or what we call suspenders. It was impolite to have the braces showing out in public. So the vest would both cover the braces, and protect the shirt. Thanks for watching, Larry.
