On the tail end of a trip to Italy, I had the luxury of riding from the northwest Piedmont, Italy region to Verbier, Switzerland. This involved a massive trip over San Bernard Pass over the course of a 130 mile day.
That route is seen here: / strava
Then on our first day in Switzerland, we rented mountain bikes and had an amazing afternoon sessioning the Verbier ski area. I've taken one ski lift with a bike in my life and that was rural Pennsylvania, so this was a treat to ride up over 8,000' elevation.

The next day was tallying as much elevation as possible in a region as close to Verbier as possible. Okay, not really, but that's the way it shook out. Four climbs and nearly 13,000' of climbing.

The trip was effectively done by now, but we rode the final point-to-point to Geneva, which involved a brief ride through France. It also involved a bike path by the UCI and generous use of their outdoor pumptrack.

I had the pleasure of visiting @SunGod at their original HQ, right there in Verbier where I walked away with some very cool new, custom sunnies. Play around with their custom glasses builder at www.sungod.co
