How do you get the Hoto compressor off of a presta valve without loosing a lot of air?
@skiparock5 күн бұрын
Did you run dub or dub wide on that crankset to fit a 44t? Thanks in advance

I run a handhled compressor and bring a backup Co2 in the event my compressor dies mid-ride. I've used mine on it's current charge about a dozen times. Seated on tubless tire, but it was a big trial and error fest that took 20 minutes out of my ride by the time I left the house.
@strandedpaki14 күн бұрын
A co2 cartridge can also seat a tubeless tire if needed, don't think those chargeable ones can. Then again neither can a portable pump I guess.
@chewbacca730514 күн бұрын
A normal floor pump will not work on a car tire past a certain psi due to vehicle weight. I still welcome our pocket sized compressor overlords but will stick with CO2 and a backup for now.
@TedKing114 күн бұрын
Ha, I never knew about the car's weight not working with a floor pump. Thanks.
@chewbacca730514 күн бұрын
Apparently/in my experience.
@chewbacca730514 күн бұрын
I guess if yo jacked it up, barring a spare at that point....maybe/probably.
@masonfreedman13 күн бұрын
That is not true. If the pump can output at the desired pressure, it will work. It will just take more pump strokes and take more time.
@KoenMiseur14 күн бұрын
I'm using the Cycplus AS2 Pro (tested it to 4,5 28mm tires at 5.5bar) and a CO2 as backup. If I ever do a long bikepacking tour I will maybe go with a normal pump instead of a CO2.
@TedKing113 күн бұрын
When you're deep into a bikepacking trip, hard to go wrong with a handy pump!

Ted, I met you at the Maple Ice Cream stand at Big Sugar. Wow, I was tired just watching all the driving then relaxed and focused when you got on the bike. It’s exactly how I would feel. So what do you listen too on those long drives by yourself besides Laura and the kids calling you :) Be safe bro and stay safe out there. Thanks for taking us along.

Ooooh, you talk Alexey. Ooooh. The god of iceman. He probably wishes he had pedaled harder and made up those 12 seconds.

Not at all, it’s amazing. I love it! Awesome air flow. In fact, I’ve been thinking about how to trap air in during the winter so I don’t get too cold.

Amazing editing. Great job with the video - it was super fun to watch, probably not quite as much fun making it with all of that travel. But at least you got to break up the drive with what looked like an awesome event. Thanks for taking the time to make it and share with all of us!!

This was my 23rd Iceman. I treat it as a yearly end of season celebration. Glad you enjoyed the race. I usually watch the pros come in up Icebreaker Hill but this year I was at the finish so I couldn't keep up with who the riders were that came in. As a old age grouper (61 yrs) I would classify your finish time as amazing. Anyway cool video.. see you next year.

I love to take the TD not in Race mode :) 40, 50, or 100 mil per day that depends the physical condition of the ride. From my experiance giving time to rest is more important also Electrolytes. That Vid was great Im glad he's got checked of course the World not ending yet :) So the next opportunity you will make it happen to finish line :)
