Zhuge Liang had a wife and two children; unfortunately the producers weren't that kind to make us some scenes spending time with his family, paying court to his fiancee. I think he was funny and romantic. Zhuge Liang's wife was very happy having a husband like him.

He was reasonable a lot of times Lol, when he hit the corrupted official, when he never trusted Lu Bu and hated his guts, when he threw the sword at Dong Zhou after Liu Bie rescued him and later when Dong Zhou took over Luyang he said to Liu Bie: If you have let me kill him back then, all of this wouldn't have happen lol, when he said to Liu Bie take Tao Qian's lands because he himself offers it to you. So he is really reasonable, but strategy shouldn't always look reasonable at the moment, it will be reasonable in the future, and that's Zhuge Lian's job.

Sima Yi and Zhuge Liang both were smart but Sima Yi pretend to be dumb so he can get what him wants. Zhuge Liang is royal to his lord and gave all he has to his master. Sima Yi decide to serve Cao Pi b/c Cao Pi was the one who is not so smart in nature so he can control Cao Pi to get what he wants.

Everyone refers to Cao Cao as a villain but that's not how I see it. He is cruel (at times) and manipulates but ultimately wants to establish peace under his kingdom. My favorite Lord is Liu Bei but Cao Cao is also awesome. I like Cao Cao because I see a lot of myself in him and I like Liu Bei because he is a kind and respectful lord with all the patience in the world. The weak don't deserve to breath and I don't blame Cao Cao for plotting against the Han emperor to establish new order under his dynasty. I wish Cao Cao and Liu Bei would've been allies, but we all know they hate each other, one for envy and the other for ambition.

well Zhuge Liang picked liu bei because he knew liu bei would be a better ruler for the people. Cao Cao was indeed smarter and more powerful at the time but Cao Cao was a villian in the eyes of the people. Zhuge Liang wasn't picking the smartest or most powerful ruler at the time. If Zhuge Liang wanted to be king of shu he could have overthrown liu bei many times if he wanted to. Some things are more important. Picking Cao Cao doesnt make sima yi smarter in any way now does it

Talent isn't measured by potential, it's measured by RESULTS. Sima Yi = far more cunning and calculating than Zhuge Liang, who didn't ACTUALLY accomplish a damn thing besides, like everyone else from Shu, giving up his life in vain in the misguided hopes of restoring an overrated dynasty that only came to be because Xiang Yu FUCKED up. Sima Yi, on the other hand, managed to take control of the empire built by the #1 greatest ruler in history and preserve it for his misguided Confucian progeny
